Springtime Flowers

Are they blooming where you are?
The Spring flowers.
Do you have a favorite
I *think*
I do
"TULIPS"
yet
I love
Daffodils
Hyacinths
the smaller Grape Hyacinths
trees blossoming.
Maybe I don't have a favorite.
DO YOU?
What is yours?

~~~~ooOoo~~~~
Song of Solomon 2 12
The flowers appear on the earth;
the time of the singing of birds is come,
and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
My yellow daffodils burst into bloom yesterday and the overnight rains made everything so green!
The Lord knew how badly I needed to see this...it has been a long winter.
Blessings!
I *love* your new blog banner, Deby! So fresh and inviting. Wish I could have a picnic in the midst. :o)
Almost every blessed one of our flowers is blooming, and I have the sneezies, puffy eyes and wheezies to prove it, even *with* allergy meds. But they're all so gorgeous you just can't mind allergies too terribly much.
Oh. My favorite. Hmmmm.
I never have just one. Double Bridal Veil and yellow roses (extremely fragrant I might add) are my current faves.
Ya know I love the flowers. Come up here and lets go to that park that we went to before I got married. remember....the one with all the rhodies and the gazebo. They wont be in bloom now, but it would ne awesome to go once they are. That place is so neat. Hopefully it is still as nice as it was. Any local people who read this would love it!!!
Well, I'm in Manitoba, and there are no flowers blooming in my yard yet. But I'm sure the tulips will be coming soon at my mom's. I'm going to visit today, so I'll take my camera, just in case.
Yellow roses are also one of my favorites, but for spring time, nothing beats the wild crocus, Manitoba's Emblem....it blooms all over the fields and is a sure sign of spring!
I love the new picture at the top of your blog. I love all kinds of flowers. I have a lilac bush by my front door. But I also love jasmine and hydrangas.
I have no favorite's...I just love them all with lots and lots of colors...
My favorite is the iris, all colors and varieties. But since the crocus, tulips and hyacinths come up before, I am loving them. I'm in a new home, so we planted bulbs in pots this first spring. The hyacinths are just opening, the crocus came up, but no blooming :( In our old home in Colorado we had wonderful white double daffodils that would be gorgeous right now, and the purple tulips just budding. I hope to have more here next year. I love the Song of Solomon verse you quoted, but also like to add vs. 11 and 12: For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth; the time of singing has come.
Such a hard choice...all the flowers have their own unique beauty! and most tell their own story as well..
one story for me...daffodils..
I do love Hydrangeas..and dried too..they grow all over here and one bush I had bloomed both purple and pink! Just gorgeous.
Spring refreshes our hearts with the beauty of God's creation in full bloom..the birds chirping..and the air crisp.
Love it!
Happy Spring Deby!!
We have a few purple flowers, I don't know what they are. I sure love and adore flowers, but I do not have a green thumb! I am hoping at our next home it will have good soil and rose gardens and flower gardens all ready planted!
Hugs, Sharon
We've had snowdrops and crocuses, but it's far too early for daffodils and tulips here. Green things are poking their heads up, though.
Red geraniums are my favorite--they have to be deep red, not pinkish red. : ) Just this week, mine are starting to bloom, as is my lone rose bush. Living in the desert, I'm thankful for *any* spark of color!
There are lots of flowers blooming in our area right now. The daffodils are out. My Snowbound Candytuffs are beautiful. I think I like yellow roses the best but according to the quiz "What kind of Flower are you? I am a daffodil whatever that means.
Second time to your site but first time to post. I love your header on your blog. Just beautiful to look at. I'll be back.
I like tulips, too, but have never planted them...until Easter Sunday when a lady in our church gave me a pot of them. I enjoyed them inside for a few days before planting them around our garden. Being florist tulips, I hope they do survive.
