This past Saturday my husband was still under the weather
with this *bug*
We spent a leisurely day, watching some DVD's
Our favorite is:
The Hiding Place
I would consider it a MUST watch,
probably at least once a year if not more.
You can order this from CBD
I order from Susan's Blog (By Grace)
I have never had any problem getting things
delivered in a timely fashion.
I also love Corrie's Quotes
Her one at the end of the movie is my favorite.
BUT
I will share with you the one that is on my email
signature right now:
~~~ooooOOoooo~~~
"Every person has an eternity to gain or lose.
And when we know Jesus we also know the way.
Tell many people.
Let us work us as long as it is day,
you in your corner and I in mine."
And when we know Jesus we also know the way.
Tell many people.
Let us work us as long as it is day,
you in your corner and I in mine."
I've read the book, but not seen the movie. Thanks for the review!
I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with med. tests, too. They sure aren't any fun, are they?! I'll pray for you, as well.
Hope your sweetie is better, soon.
The book was great! I'll have to get the movie. Thank you for sharing. :)
Love her books. Read the Hiding Place a few years ago (again) for Brian's school. He has since re-read it a couple of times. I saw this movie when it first came out (years ago ... I was not an adult yet) and would love to see it again. That DVD would make a nice addition to our library; I'm going to add it to my wish list.
Ohhhhh! Corrie! Corrie ten Boom is my spiritual 'grandmother' even though she is in Heaven with the Lord. I just adore 'The Hiding Place' but I have never seen the movie. I'll have to order it. Thanks for posting about my "favoritest saint". :o) Seeing her photo here was like seeing you blog about an old friend.
I guess my comment got eaten by comment moderation so I'll try again.
I love both the book and the movie. My favorite quote:
There is no pit so deep that His love isn't deeper still."
We have the movie; never read the book. Watching it always grabs the heart.
I love that book, that woman, her family, amazing faith.
