Saturday Encouragment
This scripture is on my
mind this morning. So
I thought I would encourage my
blog friends with it.
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brethren,
be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,
forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Amen!! Good encouragement Sis!! Thanks!
Thanks Deby, that's a great verse to keep in mind when we sometimes wonder if the 'work' we are doing is of any value!
That Scripture is a good reminder to me to keep praying and keep doing, especially for the unsaved.
I will have my hair done this Wednesday. My hairdresser is most likely not saved. I have been praying for a long time for him. I will keep on. Thanks for the verse.

I like that! Thank you for sharing it.
Amen! Thanks for sharing this verse today.

We used to sing that little chorus at our old church. Thanks for sharing this verse today.
Deby, that has been one of my favorite verses in the Bible for a few years now! Something about it just kind of stuck and so great you chose that one to share today! ;)

Deby that scripture is so precious to me. God sent it to me at one of the lowest times of my life, just because He is so good and tender to us when we need it! Indeed the labor is not in vain, not if we can please the Lord!
the mystery is solved.
;o)
I like this!!!!!!
Love your pretty picture and verse,
Deby ~
Thank you for the encouragement! :)
One of my favorite verses among favorites..... how can you possibly pick just ONE favorite? :-)
If you haven't visited my blog recently, you'll have to catch up with my sewing adventure. :-) I'm sure you'll get a good kick out of it.
Much love to you!

I love this scripture. What a promise from the Lord. I like being stedfast and unmoveable. I wish that I could say that I was ALWAYS abounding in the work of the Lord. It is not as easy as you get older to do all the things that your heart has a desire to do but I do know this that whatever I labour to do it is not in vain in the Lord. I am so thankful. connie from Texas
I can't go into detail, but I sure needed that verse!

Hi MIL and friend!! This would have been the verse that I truly needed to see last night. Puts it all in perspective for me right now. Sometimes it is hard to not feel your labor is in vain....but I am thankful that the Lord gives us such sweet reminders.
Good scripture to post for encouragement. One of my favs: I Cor. 12:15
