missing family

We are home.....and already missing this family that lives some distance from us. We loved meeting and getting to know our new granddaughter.....saying good-bye...is so hard for this Nana. It was a wonderful vacation. We saw other family members we have not seen for years. I am so thankful for this time with my husband too....now I need to unpack...

So glad you had a good time. I just know you spoiled that precious little girl. Get rested up.

I 'm sure it is difficult to be so far away from your precious grandbaby, especially at this stage where they are changing constantly. I'm glad that you had a wonderful time, Deby!

Hi Deby...thank you for your most encouraging comment on my Day by Day post...

yes.. We BOTH...know..don't we. Atleast we know how to pray for eachother..us NANA's..(SMILE)

Just sooo hard to leave them..and now another of mine going even farther away..that leaves just my son ..the closest..6 hours. But, thankful we can make the trip once in a while for a weekend trip. My husband and I decided...every three months we'll visit the twins. I can look forward to that! Another new grandchild to be born in January..all the way in Okinawa..SIGH. But God knows.
Precious are the moments..to cherish.

Love the photo you shared...the baby is precious.

God bless you Nana..

Yeah Deby I know that feeling well, we live a ways from all our family, sure hurts to leave them and say goodbye.
