Trip to Ikea

I like going to Ikea. Although the lines of
their furniture, is much to modern for me.
Add a doilie, candle, voila' it can work.
There is so much more than furniture. I can
find a cheap little something that I can
use in my home.
We went last night looking for a bookcase.
If you ever can go, wear decent shoes.
it is much walking, at least to me.
When I leave there, I can barely walk, the
fibro is hurting so bad. It is still worth it.
I enjoy the evening away with my husband.
We get a 7-11 coffee and off we go.
I will add in quite a few pictures. My camera
battery died there so I didn't get one of my beloved.

not great...but that is me !!

I see a RED piece of furniture...hmmm
RED fabric..tempting !!!
Blurry...but love the PINK and Mirrors
organize

nice
they added the silverware to this chandelier..

kitchenware...fun to browse
candles..candles..candles...

I am a basket case !!!

Oh I LOVE Ikea!!! The closest one to us is in Gratz, Austria. I don't get to go very often but I love it. They have such a nice style.
Loved the pictures!

We used to go to IKEA in Germany...and I loved it. I have not been to one since 1994...

I agree about the furniture, but all the accessories...neato!

Do you know, I've never been to an Ikea store! I know--I lead a sheltered life! LOL

Next week I will be in San Diego while Zach attends a fiddle camp. Going to an Ikea store (I'm sure they have one) will be on my list of things to do, now that I've seen your pictures. : )

And I love the RED too!

Deby,

You just brought back so many memories. When my husband and I were newleweds, we furnished our entire studio with Ikea. That furniture stayed with us for 4 years before we bought our house.

Oh, good memories:)

Thanks for sharing your day...

I had never been to Ikea till we moved here, and now I love it! I'm like you and don't care for much of their furniture (although we did find one bedroom set that we liked and now it's ours). I do love all their little kitchen things, and we buy all of our drinking glasses there. Let's see . . . oh! I'm going to have to go over there and look at their fabrics. I'm thinking some of them might make cute purses!

Thanks for sharing your trip!

I love IKEA! There's one down the street from our old doctor's office ... loved when the girls had their annual physicals and such, because I would plan extra time for IKEA, too. That's the one thing I miss now that we've switched to a closer doctor LOL! Might have to plan a shopping trip this summer ... the girls love going through the little room displays.
