Queen Anne's Lace

Do you love the look of it ?
I sure do
When I googled
I found out so much information
If this interests you,

This is blooming everywhere
on the sides of freeways
in fields..
I love it !!!
It reminds me of Baby's Breath
So open...and airy.
I do not consider it a weed
Does it grow where you live?
Another blessing NOT from Mother Nature
.....it is from Father God
Creator of Heaven and Earth.

My daughter, who likes to study edible and non edible plants, says that Queen Anne's Lace is wild carrot. The roots are edible!

Oh Queen Anne's Lace! I forgot about these pretty flowers. I used to bring them inside and use food coloring and make a variety of colors...

Oh so simple yet so directly takes me to Him! Thanks Deby for bringing me to all that He creates(rain)and flowers!

Amen, about the gift of God! The Queen Anne's Lace is so beautiful. We don't have it around here, but I would plant it in my garden. It's so delicate and pretty. Hope your weekend was good.
Be a sweetie,

I had a patch show up in one of my flower beds this year and I left it because it is so pretty...definitely not a weed!

Being in the south, the Queen Anne's lace has almost faded away now. The girls and I love to pick it. I may have to wait till next summer, but I'm going to try out Jen's idea of dying it - love that!

And Amen - In the beginning God created!!

Funny you should talk about Queen Anne's Lace today. I have just spent the weekend in Central Oregon and it is everywhere. My girls were picking some of it and I had fun explaining what it was and how it brought back fun memories of when I was a girl. My mom just loves Queen Anne's Lace and so the smell and look and everything has stayed with me for many years. What fun to come back and see that you had written about it! Thank you! - TravelinPilgrim

I don't think I've seen it growing here, although we do have lots of pretty wildflowers. I'll have to pay more attention and start looking for it.

I don't think we have it around here. I wish we did. Especially if it reminds you of baby's breath.
