Kristi Dykes

Kristy Dykes
August 2, 1951 ~ July 21, 2008

~*~*~*~*~*~
I woke up this morning unsure if, or what I would
blog about...
Kristi's blog has been the first one I read everyday.
Kristi is with Jesus
Her family knows this, those who read her blog and knew her
KNOW THIS.
Today could be your last day.
Can you say the same thing?
LIFE is so SHORT
There are NO guarantees that
*YOU* will survive THIS day.
Where will you spend YOUR eternity?
Do you know?
Do you know for sure?
I do !!!
Kristi Dykes was ready
She lived it.
My story is told on last years Sept. 30th post.
I am Heavenbound and Rapture Ready
ARE YOU ??
Deby
Please pray for the Dykes Family
They will miss their sweet Kristi !!!

Oh Deby.... how sad for their family. Thank you for pointing me to Kristi's site. She was a fellow Floridian and I wish I could have known her. I'm sorry for her family's, and your, loss.

I just cannot stop thinking about this woman and her family. Do you know where in Florida they live? If it is close by, I could attend her services. I am deeply stricken by this for some reason and I didn't even know of her before an hour ago.

Thinking of you.

Teary. . .what beautiful and heart-wrenching posts by her husband during her last days. Thank you, Deby, for sharing. . .and for pointing to hope amongst all the sadness.

Very, sad, Deby, yet she is rejoicing now. She certainly does have a sweet husband. I'm sorry I did not know her before.

How sweet of her Hero to write. I call my husband my Hero also.

I had thoughts about this just today as I pray for a dear friend named Donna ...she is not doing well at this time. Cancer.

All I could think about was the song... Oh that will be glory...

Just to be there and to look on His face..

My next post...

Thanks for sharing this so we can pray for her family.

It was sad to hear she had passed, but her husband certainly has the peace of God on him and I know that means the world in times like these.

Oh Deby,

Such poignant and beautiful words from her husband, describing how she went home to glory from his hand to the Lord's Hands ... it brought tears to my eyes!

Thanks for pointing us to her site ~ I hadn't heard of her before today.

To be *Heavenbound and Rapture Ready* is the most important thing in any soul's life and I pray that many will ask themselves these questions today as a direct result of this glorious post!

Blessings,
Dallas

Thank you for sharing this news, Deby. I found Kristy's blog a while back then lost it and couldn't seem to find it again. I've thought of her often and wondered/prayed. How bittersweet this news - glorious that she's with Christ right now but so sad for her loved ones.

Bless you.

Hi Deby ~ Thank you for posting the link to your testimony back on Sept 30th. I just read and enjoyed it as I wasn't reading your blog back then.

I recently celebrated my spiritual birthday on July 18th (43 years a Christian) and linked to my original testimony on the blog 3 years ago. Here's the link:

I don't know this other lady either that you linked to so I will go over and read about her. Thanks!
