Caffeine-free-woohoo !!

Hooray--I am Caffeine-Free !!!!
Maybe not a big deal for any of you,
but it is for me and my health.
It has been a week now !!!
I will drink De-caf- or Caffix
OR
TEA--lots of it
I am drinking flavored tea and herbals
and prayerfully getting healthier at the same time.
Trying to eat healthier too
Not a bad thing, huh?

Deby, that is great! I was concerned about your coffee drinking. I switched to tea too, most of the time decaf, but sometimes regular. I could not remember the name Caffix, you gave us. Now I don't know where to get it. Thanks, I really hope it does help your health a lot. Drink lots of water too! Oh, I read somewhere that if you dark too much decaf coffee, you were still getting caffeine?

Love and Hugs,
Cathy

Hope you didn't get lots of headaches like my husband does when he skips his caffeine.

Glad you were able to kick it!

So I guess you will be getting decaf for our coffee meet-up's and I will be the one talking 50 miles a minute now? hehe =0

That is a significant accomplishment, and you should feel very proud of yourself! I hope you will try different teas. I really enjoy trying different tea flavors when I go to the store. It keeps me from having any desire for coffee. Blessings to you, and many healthy days!!

Congrats Deby! That's quite an accomplishment.

I've never been a coffee drinker and only 2 cups of tea daily ... I've been thinking of trying herbal teas and see if I can get used to them.

I have to be careful which herbs I ingest because of my immunosuppressant meds for my heart transplant so I'll be checking first.

Have a great week!

Hi Deby! Good for you. I'm on tract for good health too. I took vitamin C daily while my daughter was here and WOW...ENERGY!!! I couldn't believe the difference it made! Also going to make some other changes with diet and take some new herbs on daughter's recommendation.

I have so many blessings to share. Thank you for the sweet b'day wishes.

I'll be blogging tomorrow.

God bless..

YAY!! You Go Girl!! I had to do that way back and I know it can be tough!! Never regretted it though!! I have some from time to time, but not very often!

I love my decaf coffee just as much as I loved the caffeinated. I realized that I just needed the flavor...not the jolt!!

Have a joyful week!
Becky

Wow, are we on the same wavelength this week! I've been working on getting healthier, too, as you know.

Congratulations on becoming caffeine free!

Keep up the good work.

I find it interesting when a diet that tells you to eat carrots, limit your fat, have some oatmeal for breakfast, drink lots of water...... also TELLS you to inform your doctor of the 'changes' in your diet!
Why don't we have to tell our doctor when we eat french fries, forget to drink water and have bacon instead of oatmeal?
(yay for decaff.......)
