Wagon train vs.U-haul...I take U-haul

MOVING.....arrgh...I have spent a lifetime doing it.
TRULY...think about 37 moves or so.
It is exhausting...
BUT look above it could be much worse.
SO I will be thankful that God is giving me
enough energy to pack these thousands of boxes
(exaggeration here)
and still get a nap...
Oh that bumpy ride in a Wagon Train
hurts just to think about it...

Lol! Yes indeed, it could be much worse. Slow and steady gets the job done.

I hate packing/moving too Deby. I hope I never have to do it again. The last time almost got me down. From looking at your pictures, it could be worse - wagon train!

37 times! You must be an expert(hehe) I love the wagon train photo. I would have hated to travel like that but then again, that's all they knew and were probably thankful to have a wagon instead of walking or horseback riding.
You know what would be fun is to slip a note or verse in a box so when you open it after the move you have a surprise waiting for you.

Moving is strenuous. No matter what.

It's a tough time but try to take it one day at a time. Hang in there.

You are so funny! Yes, the U-Haul sounds like a wise decision.

You are working so hard, and I know you must be tired, but just think about how wonderful it will be to settle your family comfortably in your lovely new home! "She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her" (Proverbs 31:27-28).

Cute, Deby, it seems you are doing all this in quite a hurry. I pray the Lord will give you wisdom and strength to endure.

Now that's a perspective that I could have used when we moved four years ago!

I often try to imagine what it would have been like to have to pare everything I owned down to fit into a wagon. It must have been so difficult.
I think you've made a good choice :-)

Deby,
I love the wagon train picture! I know when you move, it does seem like a thousand boxes are packed! You wonder where all the stuff came from. I hope everything goes smoothly for you. Keeping you in my prayers.

I am truly blessed said...

oh......you dont want the fresh open air ride of a wagon?!?!? Just kidding. I will be praying that your move goes very well and that you have the strength to endure in the process. Love ya!!

Good morning, dear Deby! I have nominated you for an award. I know you are quite busy with your move, so don't worry about this now, but when things settle down for you, you are welcome to stop by my blog and pick it up. Have a blessed day!
