Kitchen pictures

This is a glimpse of my counter. It is a glass top stove
with a oven/confection oven unerneath.
The long bar has a button on it, you push it,
and then up comes the oven vent/fan.
Paper shade on the window right now, what a great invention.
I love dishes, trays etc.
This cupboard DESPERATELY needs some paint.
I just had to get some stuff put away pre-painting.
I sanitized double or triple cleaning it before I put the dishes in.
This is just one 1/2 of it.
Oh I love having cupboard space, it is a treat.
~*~~*~*~~*~
My husband is working hard to finish getting our
other house ready to sell.
As I have shared, this new to us house
needs a LOT of TLC
Some major, some minor.
I don't want to pressure my husband AT ALL !
When things get done, they get done.
I am doing what I can, the best I can.
Moving with fibromyalgia is hard.
Yesterday I lifted tons of boxes, not big.
SO today, I hurt and will pray just to get a few more unpacked.
In the scheme of things, what does it matter?
When I was younger, it would have.
Nahhhh....not now, priorities change when your health does.
I am SURE as I write this, MANY of you know what I mean.

I know what you mean about the big scheme of things. No, it's not important, but our health is. Take it easy today. It will all get done eventually.

I really like the kitchen! I think it is wonderful that you have work to be done on your house. Just think of what it will look like around Christmas time! You can compare the pictures you are taking now, with the way it will look in a few months. And then imagine what it will look like in Christmas 2010! Just think of all the blessings you have to look forward to!

Already, you are making it cozy and pretty, Deby. Yes, you are wise to take your time, as you need to take care of your health.

Oooo, you had me so intrigued with your "confection" oven. My imagination was working overtime, until I realized that it must be a typo and that you actually have a "convection" oven. ~sigh~ You will use it to make some luscious confections, though, I hope?

I love your china Deby so gorgeous!!!! I am beginning to know what you mean about prioritising but I am struggling. I have always thought myself as "superwoman" God has shown me differently lol!!!!! Marie x

I'm finally learning the wisdom of just taking each day and doing what needs to be done for that day. I tend to want to hurry and get the whole "business" taken care of in one fell swoop. It not only makes me extremely tired, but I tend to get a bit sloppy toward the end. I think you have exactly the right attitude.
I love all your beautiful flowered china pieces. My favorite sort of pattern!!

I really do like those POP UP vents! I told my hubby that one should be included when we build my dream kitchen!! A girl can dream can't she?

I hope your muscles are feeling better by now. It's so frustrating, wanting to do things, but suffering with pain afterwards. It happens all too often around here.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your new home.
