This I KNOW.....Without HIM

This I know.....
as I contemplate 2008
there are personal changes in areas of my
life that need work.
I am sure you have them as well.
BUT this I KNOW:
WITHOUT HIM
Without Him I could do nothing
Without Him I'd surely fail
Without Him I would be drifting
Like a ship without a sail
Without Him I would be dying
Without Him I'd be enslaved
Without Him life would be worthless
But with Jesus thank God I'm saved
Oh Jesus, oh Jesus
Do you know Him today
Please don't turn Him away
Oh Jesus, my Jesus
Without Him how lost I would be
Without Him how lost I would be

Oh Deby
I sent an email to someone who had emailed me it is time for all good Christians to bend on one knee and pray. I gently responded that there are no *good* Christians just saved ones.

My point is this, we are saved so now we just need Him to lead us the way we need to go. Through scriptures, prayer, fasting , and fellowship.

So take the pressure off you in your goals for 2008, and place your resolutions with the Lord, as He says in Matthew 11:28-30...for His Yoke is easy, and His burden is Light. By doing this He will supply you with all you need.
Of course these are my thoughts about resolutions.
You have made a difference in my life too, my sister in Christ. I cannot even express to you how much.

Good for you for looking for ways to grow in your spiritual life. As my Pastor likes to remind us....If we aim for nothing than that is what we will usually hit.

Happy New Year to you!

Deby, I saw your link at Proverbs 31 Wannabe and have very much enjoyed visiting your site. I will be back. Mylon LeFevre. I haven't heard his name for a month of Sundays. I will search Rhapsody.com for some of his music. I used to just love it.
Lori is helping with my goals, and I am just delighted with the results already. She is causing
me to think in a different way about the things I want to accomplish. And she's a woman of prayer. That makes a world of difference.
Happy New Year.
