This is the system I used to go through my Bible this past year.
I finished early.
It takes only about 15 -20 minutes a day
IT was so easy and not overwhelming and such a blessing
These were the cards that I used.....they come perforated
you tear them apart and put them in your Bible as bookmarks where you are
reading. It averages out that you read 4-5 chapters a day.
You are reading Old Testament, Psalms (Proverbs, Song ofSolomon) New Testament.
A little of each.....and the dates with boxes are on it so you can check it off..
It is great IF like me you get behind a bit.
ALSO ......I LOVE to see the progress,
This is just the basics, for me
I also do further studies on subjects, books of the Bible etc.
They are FREE...you can order them here:
I have extras....and would mail some too.
Email me your snail mail address and let me know
I will take off the last 2 sentences when they are gone.
What a GREAT way to start off 2008

Thanks for sharing this Deby! I'd love to take one of of your hands.
Oh wow that is so neat! May i take one off your hands?
I haven't seen that technique before, it looks like a good way to read the bible!
Thanks for your comments on my Nativities and theme trees. Today I posted Santa and snowman trees. Tomorrow I'll have a special theme tree on Kelli's Show and Tell.

Just coming by to see your blog and thank you for visiting mine. It was a blessing to know that my writing encouraged you. I hope to see you more.
How neat that you live in Washington State! I was just there visiting family in October! Some family near you and some in Eastern WA. In spite of all the rain...a beautiful state!
BTW...do get the Bryn Riplinger CD..she has a new one out also. I listen to her first one every time I am in my car. Such great messages in each song and wonderful wholesome music and a lovely voice.
Amen...to your recommendation of NEW AGE VERSIONS...Gail Riplinger is such a blessing.
That's great, Deby. I have used a One Year Bible that I have.
I've been looking for a great way to do this that wouldn't be overwhelming. I'm going to check this out. Thank you for the lovely recommendation. Your blog is very uplifting, full of beautiful things that focus on Christ. I'm glad to have found you!
Hello Deby,
I hadn't been around here in a while but the nice thing is that you post quite often so I have nice posts to read. I was wondering, I'm reading how great this system worked and was wondering if you had any left if I could get one from you? I live in France so it might be more expensive to send which is too bad, but just thought I would ask. My husband and I are going through the Bible together as a couple, but we are only doing one chapter a day, besides that I would like to do something like this for my quiet time... Anyway :) Thank you for your lovely blog... still have a bit more reading to do ;)
Blessings to you...
Dear Deby,
Thanks to your generosity I was able to get this plan and I am only three days away from reading the whole Bible for the first time. I just wanted to thank you so much for offering to send those of us who were interested a plan. I thought I would come back and get the link you posted so I could order one again for next year, but the link doesn't work... do you know where I could find them this time? I'm also very sorry because I don't think you ever got the card I sent you to thank you for the plan. It has been such a huge blessing to me. I hope you have a blessed new year in the Lord and in His Word. and thank you again!
