I can't amen this enough - God's Word is not used as it should. People so often try to fix their own problems. I know I used too. Lord Bless, Cathy

Deby, God's WORD has changed my life. I am in awe of Its perfection and ability to answer any of life's questions. When I married my husband almost 20 years ago, we were given a wall hanging with that verse on it. It also has sentimental meaning as well for me. Have a wonderful day...

He is my everything. Less of me, more of Him, the Holy God, my Rock and Salvation.

Lately, I'm sensing a great need (and desire) to seek Him all the more. Are you too?

I don't usually respond to comments due to time ...
But to ANSWER Lady Jane,
YES.....I am feeling this tug to spend more time in HIS WORD, I am feeling more BOLDNESS to share with others I run across, the GOOD NEWS..without cowering...but to let people know JESUS is coming..are they Rapture Ready...The harvest is plenteous, the workers are few....we all have fields to harvest in our world, if we don't reap, the enemy WILL and does....PEOPLE need the Lord, not programs, not political persons, not false promises...it is about HIM....and I want more of it even though my flesh wants to fight it...

Dear Deby, this has been my favorite very since I was in my 30's and had to have back surgery. It has gotten me though much.It has so much special meaning for me because I used to be that person who tried to fix everything. Now I can peacefully lay them in the Lord's hand and not worry or fret. I love His WORD. Have a good day, dear friend. connie

Deby,

What a verse of comfort and joy! It has brought me through many a rocky road and I'm still learning its truth in nooks and crannie that the Lord is discovering still hidden in my life!

AMEN as well to the response written to Jane's question!!

You touched on so many things that I have been pondering lately!

Blessings to you and yours in the days ahead :o)

I have had this verse on my wall for years. I quote it over and over because God's Word is where we find peace. I'm so thankful for the verses I memorized as a young person. It isn't as easy tomemorize when you get older.
I enjoy your blog. God keep you and make you a blessing.
