Deby, God's WORD has changed my life. I am in awe of Its perfection and ability to answer any of life's questions. When I married my husband almost 20 years ago, we were given a wall hanging with that verse on it. It also has sentimental meaning as well for me. Have a wonderful day...
I don't usually respond to comments due to time ... But to ANSWER Lady Jane, YES.....I am feeling this tug to spend more time in HIS WORD, I am feeling more BOLDNESS to share with others I run across, the GOOD NEWS..without cowering...but to let people know JESUS is coming..are they Rapture Ready...The harvest is plenteous, the workers are few....we all have fields to harvest in our world, if we don't reap, the enemy WILL and does....PEOPLE need the Lord, not programs, not political persons, not false promises...it is about HIM....and I want more of it even though my flesh wants to fight it... Deby
Dear Deby, this has been my favorite very since I was in my 30's and had to have back surgery. It has gotten me though much.It has so much special meaning for me because I used to be that person who tried to fix everything. Now I can peacefully lay them in the Lord's hand and not worry or fret. I love His WORD. Have a good day, dear friend. connie
I do, I do, Deby. I love coming here. Always some sweet little thing to touch my heart and bring loveliness to my eyes. You are so artistic indeed, in giving nuggets from God's Word.
What a verse of comfort and joy! It has brought me through many a rocky road and I'm still learning its truth in nooks and crannie that the Lord is discovering still hidden in my life!
AMEN as well to the response written to Jane's question!!
You touched on so many things that I have been pondering lately!
This is my first time visiting your blog. It's lovely. What a beautiful picture you have posted today. I also looooove being a homemaker and think it's the most important job in the world. Thanks for all the affirming encouragement here :)
I have had this verse on my wall for years. I quote it over and over because God's Word is where we find peace. I'm so thankful for the verses I memorized as a young person. It isn't as easy tomemorize when you get older. I enjoy your blog. God keep you and make you a blessing.
"I am not a homemaker because I had too little ambition or education to make anything else of myself.
No~~ I am a homemaker because God has given me the infinite honor of being a wife, and I delight in employing every ability that He has equipped me with, in this glad career." Mrs. Lanier Ivester
"Spend your time in nothing which you know must be repented of; in nothing on which you might not pray for the blessing of God; in nothing which you could not review with a quiet conscience on your dying bed; in nothing which you might not safely and properly be found doing if death should surprise you in the act."

I can't amen this enough - God's Word is not used as it should. People so often try to fix their own problems. I know I used too. Lord Bless, Cathy

He is my everything. Less of me, more of Him, the Holy God, my Rock and Salvation.
Lately, I'm sensing a great need (and desire) to seek Him all the more. Are you too?
