When we make the effort to cultivate such gentle strength,
we not only enrich our own lives and make life a little better for those we encounter;
we also pass on the spirit of femininity to the next generation."

Lovely quote and I like the picture you used as well.
Oh!--And your new blog header is very pretty too. (o:
I certainly hope my girls will grown up loving their femininity and desire to conduct themselves as true ladies. :)
Thank you for sharing this beautiful quote! :o)
I loved the quote and the picture! Your new blog header is beautiful.
I have tried so hard to find this book of Emilie Barnes', but it's rather rare. I did find a small, nugget version called "Heart of Loveliness" but it's only the "heart" of what she wrote in the full version.
When I am fortunate enough to receive it, I'm planning on reading it and jotting down any quotes that especially touch my heart and then giving it to my daughter :o)
Have a wonderful weekend with your family!
Amen!
The Spirit of Loveliness is my favorite Emily Barnes book.
Thank you for that qoute!
What a lovely quote and so true!
Hugs, Sharon

Deby ~ I love your quote posts. This one is lovely! That's what I want ... to pass Godly, femininity into the next generation through my young ladies.
P.S. Your new blog design is beautiful!
Beautiful quote. It was funny but I was reading her book this afternoon and read that - then came to your blog and found it here too. :) I have been busy with our new one and have not visited in a while. I LOVE the look of your blog - great updates.
Blessings,
~Martie
What a lovely quote...
Your new blog header looks so nice too! And what wonderful news about your daughter-in-law! Praise the Lord! : )
If we look around us today, true feminity among women has been lost. Oh but thank God He calls many of us out of the world to bring it back :)
I enjoy being treated with respect and not just 'one of the guys'. I am not a guy, I am a lady.
Hallelujah!
That was beautiful!
Love it...reminds me of the quote that Mom of 9 has on her site...
Our lives lived as women professing godliness speaks volumes to this world...
Just as I told a woman once..WHY NOT wear a skirt..I AM A WOMAN..right?
like it was a crime!
Keep feminine WOMEN...it's our ministry and testimony!
Beautiful quote.
The Mrs.
