Crocs--Thanks Lisa

My feet hurt, my legs hurt....my sister Lisa kept on telling me to get a pair
of what I considered to be a ugly, overpriced plastic pair of shoes.
She told me that I would love them....I didn't believe her...
I am the *older sister* and KNOW MORE.......WRONG.....
I bought them....
yesterday was my first day with them on in my house and what a difference.....
I will try them with my denim skirt when I go out somewhere and see how they work
especially on those hard concret floors of Home Imrovement stores and Co*tco
Do I think they might be overpriced for Plastic....
yeah maybe..but if they hold up....and make a difference...they will be worth it.
btw....
I got the one design shown..the Black Mary Janes

That style is fairly cute, and I normally hate Crocs. Do you wear socks with them, because I hate to wear socks.

Tracy....either way...I am going to try them with tights too....
I do love them...

I used to hate them too, till I tried a "fake" pair from Payless. Now I love them - they are my "inside" shoes. One of these days I'm going to get me a pair of Mary Jane Crocs.

We've been hooked on Crocs, too.
I agree they are overpriced and not exactly the prettiest shoe but they are comfortable! The children and I love them and we even got my mom hooked!
So glad you enjoy them. ;o)

That is amazing. I saw some on sale at Easy Spirit - wonder if they are any better? Can't even remember how much they were.

I've never worn Crocs, so maybe my opinion doesn't count; but I've always thought they were really ugly. So many people say they're comfortable though...maybe some day I'll try them on.
The funniest pair I've ever seen was out here in Jerusalem. I saw an Ultra-Orthodox Jewish man (the ones who wear the long black coats, black hats, black stockings, etc.) wearing a pair of black Crocs! It struck me as very funny to see that.

I dreaded the day my podiatrist told me to get rid of my 'pretty' shoes and wear shoes that will accept my orthodics. arghgh. Now I wear sturdy, sensible shoes, my main pair looking (to me) like Frankenstein shoes. But ya know what? I'm no longer in excruciating pain...and I can walk. It's a pretty good trade-off!

As to your new Croc Mary Janes...I love them!!!

I just got a pair of these over Christmas, and I have loved wearing them in the house as I do my housework! I did wear them out to the store one day, but I got slush in my shoe on my way inside (YUCK), so I do believe I'll wait till dryer weather to wear these out and about!

I also used to hate them until I bought a cheap pair from Wal-mart to wear in the house now I love my new inside shoes. I wouldn't wear them anywhere away from the house but only because they seem to me to be very dressed down but I bet they would be pretty nice in the summer. I like how they're not tight. Great choice! *Ü*

I haven't got any crocs, but I'll rather tempted by some on sale offer in our township. I think you've pushed me over the edge into Croc wearing ;) Hugs.

My dear mother has about 13 pair of crocs, all in different colors. She LOVES them and says they are the best shoes ever. She's on her feet all day at the bank and they seem to have helped her a lot.

Deby, I always thought they were the ugliest shoes around.... well, maybe not *the* ugliest, but almost. When I was in FL last June, My BIL had a navy pair that didn't fit him so he sent them home for my DH. I thought, "Oh, no way that he will ever wear them." So, I wore them around a bit in FL and when I got home, dh claimed them as his own once he tried them, so we fought over them! I received my own black pr for Christmas. LOVE them! Of course, being in Maine, I can't wear these outside right now, but they are my inside shoes. I love them. Did I say that? They are so comfy. I did look at the Mary Jane ones and like them, too.
I tried the LL BEan ones, but they aren't wide enough for my foot. I have a hard time getting shoes to fit, which is another reason why I like the Crocs. I know there are winter ones, too, but I'd rather get the MJ's. Enjoy!

I don't think they're ugly at all! :) Very cute is how I'd describe them. I love the two-strap style. I hope you enjoy wearing them!

I love my "ugly" crocs. I have two pair and now I need a pair of the Mary Jane style.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I am reading and enjoying yours.

I am the proud owner of TWO different type pairs!

I thought they were "ugly" too and just a fad..UNTIL...I read up on them in looking for comfort shoes. I have a lot of trouble with aching feet and so when I saw a SANDLE pair..cute. They are just two straps across your foot and sooo comfortable. Perfect for summer. THEN...I saw a similar shoe to yours...only this is a DRESSY MARY JANE with a very slight heel and no holes. Very nice looking...I wear mine to church...well...everywhere! and no more feet problems!
For those who didn't know...these are worth the money $35 as they CONFORM to your feet and are bacteria free! and then they can be washed and scrubbed!
Whatta shoe!

Hope all is well with you Deby!

I started having trouble with my feet, alot of pain and stuff, and it became clear that I had inherited my mother and grandmother's feet problems.

The doctor had told my mom Clarks or Crocs, if she wanted to buy shoes of the shelf, otherwise he wanted her ordering these special shoes. She has her special shoes and then a couple pair of Clarks.

So when I started having daily trouble, I invested in a good pair of Clarks, and it made all the differece, but I couldn't afford to wear them all the time.
Now I have my crocs for everyday and my Clarks for work, and I haven't had any foot trouble since I have been wearing them.

I have a regular red pair of the crocs and then a pair of mary janes in brown! Love them!!

And to answer someone elses question about socks....most of the time I were them without socks, but when it was -1 out the other day i wore them with socks.

I LOVE my Crocs! We went to Tennessee a few years back and when my friend picked us up at the airport, her and her girls were wearing Crocs. I thought they were ugly...but by the end of the trip she convinced my to try on a pair at the mall. Wow, what comfort! I ended up buying the whole family a pair. David doesn't want to wear anything else, but we don't let him wear them on Sunday mornings with his slacks. Haha. Glad you got a pair for your poor aching body.
