Show n Tell

I am participating in Kelli's Show and Tell

Mine is connected with"YESTERDAYS post"....
something that last January I thought, I would never
accomplish....I read through my Bible...
I am showing you my very marked up Bible
Schedule.....it is on my Shabby desk...in my
PINK" Lovely room" as my husband calls it.
It was a blessing to do...and after Sept. 30th
Boy did scripture pop out...and became so real.
I plan to get started on January 1st....and do it again.

What a good girl you are:-)

This year I used a journal that guided me in reading through the Bible in the order it was written. It has been such a profound experience for me. I wrote about it on my blog, here's the link to the particular post... http://tomatosoupcake.blogspot.com/2007/11/best-part-of-day.html
Maybe it might be something you'd like to use at some point:-) I think I am going to go through it again this next year.

Great work! I have been an advocate of reading the Bible through for many years -- the Bible is just so rich. It's all inspired of God, and there are parts we'd never see if we didn't read it through.

Yay! Bill and I try to do this too. He is going to school on line and actually had to read the bible 3 times this year.

I am almost done. But I also have read many of the books 20 times through...as one can get strength in times like these.

Good for you! That is amazing! I need to try that next year. I read my Bible just about every day, but it would be neat to be able to know I read through the whole Bible in one year!

Merry Christmas! Sharon

Congratulations on reading through the Bible in the year. I love reading through mine each year. I try to pick out a theme each year that I look for while I am reading my Bible through. Like one year I looked for all the passages that delt with food. Ug that was convicting! lol

This year I am still praying about what God would have me study and look for - but I am thinking on the lines of Peace Makers. Those who showed or were peacemakers to others. We will see.

Hope you have a Merry Christmas. You are a blessing to me.

That is great - and congratulations on sticking with it. It helps to have a schedule. I have found it is sometimes interesting to try a different translation from one year to the next.

Blessings to you for a marvelous Christmas.

Continuous Bible reading is one of the pleasures and joys of my life. Now that I'm the age I am I wish I'd kept track of how many times I've read through the Bible!!! At the time it didn't even occur to me.

I am reading through my Bible from beginning to end this year, I'm nearly through, I didn't follow any plan I just started and have just loved it!

Well done for completing your schedule. What a wonderful Book the Bible is!

Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
