Do you ever feel like there is just tooo much....on your plate...on your mind...so muchgoing on....not always bad things...but sometimes just an abundance of things...
I was thinking about those *things* today and then this song came to mind....maybe the words will encourage someone out there, like they did me....the tune is still in my mind....
Turn your Eyes Upon Jesus
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!
Refrain:Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conquerors we are!
His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

Hello Deby,
Thank you for stopping by and visiting today. I left a long comment for you on my blog so I won't repeat it all here, but you are more than welcome to link to any post you like. I love sharing what I have learned by studying God's Word.
I see that we have much in common! I love the movie, "Fiddler on the Roof". We also have the Webster's 1828 dictionary and "New Age Bible Versions" by Gail Riplinger. In fact we have a few of her things.
Anyway, I'm adding you to my favorites list and will be back to read more.
This is one of my favorite songs from childhood!!!
