I drive on them to go visit family...

they can be intimidating at first.

I'd especially like to read the Chautauqua Idyll... you know, I am from Chautauqua- the very same Chautauqua that GLH refers to in this book, I believe. She has quite a connection to that place, or so I have heard.

love GLH and have read many of her books...I have passed them on down to my daughters and granddaughters...so I have very few left...
I love the bridge..however I'm not so sure I would enjoy driving across it...
Too bad I don't have any of those, either.
I've never been to Washington State, but last week we went to Virginia to take care of our granddaughter :) we drove across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, that was intimidating yours look like fun.
A pretty picture of the bridge, it would probably scare me.

I hope you find all of the books and COMPLETE your collection. That would be SO COOL. I'll keep my eyes out.
I recently found a few vintage Nancy Drew that I love to give and keep around for nostalgia. $1.00 each...love that.
Bridges are a little bit scary, but worth it.

I remember the first time I crossed the bridge when we first moved up here. I thought Uncle Jim said it was called the "narrow bridge" and I was picturing this old, rickety wood bridge, about to break at any moment ... that was also extremely narrow and dangerous... Now I like to think of it as a cakewalk!
