the *Duggars*

I recently read this book.
I just wanted to know more about this family. Like many others, they intrigue me and I find them inspiring.

I really enjoyed this book. It has recipes for meals, and even their laundry detergent that they make.
It has bits from some of the children.
I enjoyed reading about Michelle and Jim's Bob courtship and their early years of marriage.

I think you will enjoy this book.

My friend, Susan, who is a missionary wife to Canada, has a CBD account..this book is on her sidebar. Please go visit Susan to order. Every little bit helps when you are a missionary. I asked her permission to do this. Her blog is "By Grace"

I have a strange fascination with the Duggars and will try to pick up this book. I just wish I knew exactly how they make everything run so seamlessly.

Thanks for sharing about the contents of the book!

I didn't know they had a book out. Michelle Duggar reminds me so much of my mentor when I was a teenager. So soft spoken and easy going.

First off--- love love love the plate border on the garden. Believe it or not I just finished using broken dishes(antiques from antique store-gave them to me:) to tile my window ledges in the kitchen. I love the country feel. I still have to do the grout but funny...dishes on my mind!

I have followed the Duggars since the beginning, and we lived next door to a family in Nevada, that has 19 children! And this family is as similar to the Duggars. I guess one must run a tight ship or anarchy!!
Sorry to be MIA for a while!

I love to watch this family. They totally amaze me. I've heard a great deal about this book and hope to read it one day soon. I don't like the fact that they like home-churching because I'm totally against it, but I do believe they have a great handle on their home-life.

I love the Duggars, they are a wonderful Christian family who truly knows and acknowledges where their blessings come from. (Unlike Jon & Kate plus 8 who have let the money and fame go to their heads.....not to mention the fact that Kate seizes every opportunity to publicly emasculate her husband every chance she gets.)

Rain today!!

I have learned a lot from the Duggars and just recently read this book. I like the way they choose to homeschool. I homeschool, but will be using the book they purchased to organize their home. I have a fascination with them myself. Kind of strange.

I agree. The Duggar family is fascinating, intriguing and inspiring.

The parents are the "real deal" and it trickles down to the children ~ just like the Bible says, duh....why can't the most of us, "get it."?

May God use them in a mighty way.
(It is needed so desparately). May it be so, dear Lord. May it be so.

Blessings,

Becky Terry
