Miss you already, Lorin

Lorin
Born November 24th
Graduated to HEAVEN November 24th.
My youngest brother
Husband of Brooke, twin of Lisa
He is having a sweet reunion with our parents and our other brother Billy.
I miss him already, we are sad but KNOW he is in Heaven.
HE is whole, and not in pain.
Thank you to my sister, Susie who gave him
round the clock Hospice Care,
she tenderly cared for him like no other could.
Lorin was surrounded by many of us who loved him
as he passed over to Heaven.
Our hearts are heavy
BUT we KNOW where he is.
Lorin is in Heaven
we, who are still here on earth,
will mourn our loss but rejoice in his graduation day.

Job 1:21
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb,
and naked shall I return thither:
the LORD gave,
and the LORD hath taken away;
blessed be the name of the LORD.

Oh Deby,

I woke praying for you this morning, and then came here to read this. My heart is breaking for you, but it's also rejoicing with the knowledge that you were with him as he passed, and that he was a believer. May the Lord give you peace today.

I am sorry Deby, for your loss.

My husbands' cousin died over the weekend, and his family feels sure of his salvation, as well.

It certainly helps to ease the pain, knowing that they are with the Lord, and one day we will be reunited with them!

Dear Deby ~ Looking at Lorin's picture - I can see the contentment of the Lord in his face. I am sorry for your loss and yet happy for his homegoing. We get lonely for our loved ones, don't we ~ but he is shouting now on the streets of glory and that is something to be very very thankful for this holiday season.

Some day you will see him again. Another cause for rejoicing. I am sorry you feel lonely for him. I'll pray for you dear. Lord Bless ~ Cathryn

Oh, Deby, I wish that I was there to just give you a big hug and cry with you and yes, rejoice with you. I know Lorin must have been a wonderful man because he probably wasn't to different than his sisters. I have tears in my eyes but in my heart it is singing and thankging the Lord that He had already prepared Lorin a place in heaven as He has for each of His children.

In the days ahead just remember that you have friends, one being me that will be thinking about you and praying for you and your family. love you and May God comfort you as no other can. connie

My prayers are with you!

I was just talking to a woman at church this past weekend who lost her father a couple months ago.

She said people remind her that he is in a better place and very happy but that doesn't take away the pain of her and her mother.

Hold on to each other.

Deby, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. But your loss is Heaven's gain! We sorrow not as those who have no hope! Wish I could just hold you up close and tell you I Love you and it will be okay! We buried my Dad on Christmas day 20 years ago. The sorrow will turn to pleasant memories. And to think you cared enough to try and console me with my Mother in the hospital. That is what you call a compassionate, caring person. God bless you, Sis.
We will continue to pray for you and your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Deby! That must be so hard to lose a sibling, especially one that should be in the prime of life.

I really enjoy reading your posts. I was trying to reply to this one the other day but kept getting an error and it wouldn't give me the post box, but glad I checked in again today.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
