Fall pumpkin craft

I am not sure how many of you have seen these.
They are easy to do.
You get plastic dryer vent hose (you will have to figure out how much to cut, I forgot)
You glue it together with HOT glue
I painted it with several shades of acrylic paint(those little cheap ones from Wal-mart)
I used sponge brushes
The stem is a brown paper bag, rolled up
Add the extras...
I had more varieties as I made dozens of these BUT gave them away.
ALSO, there are several sizes of vent hose, try them all....
IF you make any, let me know...it was fun and VERY easy to do.

Hi Deby,
Frist, I'm saved and KNOW that I'll be in Heaven :)
What a sweet idea with the hose from a dryer. I haven't seen that before. It looks great.
Warmly,
Deb :)

Deby,
That's absolutely adorable!

If that didn't cost you much to make, maybe make some more and sell them on eBay and see what happens. :-)

Another thing someone could use besides a dryer hose is if you find a hose to a portable air conditioner. They are exactly the same. I just thought of that as I remembered our portable a/c unit upstairs. :-)

Cute pumpkin. What's next on your craft list? Ya gotta tell us!! :)

Bless you,
Dawn

Neat idea!

Your comment you just left me made me smile! I watched every second of t he debate. Toward the end I needed a potty break but couldn't risk leaving the room for one second! I loved the line you mentioned from Sarah as well as when she corrected Joe on the chant,
Drill, baby, drill!
I guess he simply said Drill, Drill, Drill so as not to risk sounding sexist! but yeah, she did great! Do you think the MSM will give her a break now? Naw I didn't think so! Praying daily for God's will in all this!

Many, many years ago, I bought one of these at a church bazaar! I loved it, but after spending too many summers in the heat of the attic, it came apart. (We now store things in the basement....live and learn ;o))
Mine had a small tree branch as the stem. I might just have to make another one of these. Thanks for the instructions and for jogging my memory!
Blessings,
Karen
