A yard sale bonanza

I like to yard sale. I cannot start in the morning and go all day, physically my body cannot hold up.
I can hit a few here and there and of course, money does not grow on trees. My husband gives me an allowance, it goes for things like this.(click to enlarge)

I got all of these goodies at ONE sale...most of it is brand new or Vintage, price tags still on it. She gave me a flat rate price of $24.00 .I was so excited. Some will be used for gifts, or giveaways. MY FAVORITE thing in the pile is "IF Teacups Could Talk" by Emilie Barnes. I have been looking for that book. The 2nd thing would be the crocheted edge Tea-towels they are waiting to be stitched......it felt like Christmas.
Are you a Yard sale--Thrift shop girl ????

What beautiful buys! I'm not a yard sale or thrift shop person (mostly because of a lack of extra time these days :)!), but my daughters LOVE both . . . my youngest is especially good at finding great things at these sales and she LOVES them!

I am definitely a yard sale person and I love estate sales the most. It is interesting to see in to the life of the past and sometimes you can get some really neat things. Sometimes estate sales do not produce the best deals, but I like to look anyway! Speaking of yard sales, I hope to hit a couple today while I'm out! :)

I am too! I wasn't, but as times change I adapt. I have found jeans for the boys for a couple of dollars and pretty blouses for my daughter.

I also spent $8.00 and got 70 canning jars in mint condition!

You have a great eye, I love the find that you got. I haven't seen things like these, boy what a coup!

WOW! Love the shabby chic pink and white linens. And is that a lamp base???? Hmmm, really pretty. I did my daughters' room in pink and white shabby chic with green accents. (Pink and white toile is my fav) Love this and yes I am a yard sale aholic.
Just don't get to do it much with the kidlets.

I'm definitely a yard sale/thrift store person. But my hubby isn't. :-( But... my daughter is! :-) She took me to 2 thrift stores a couple of days ago, on her birthday, and we had so much fun! You have found some beautiful things! I am rejoicing with you!

How did you find such a sale as that? Wow. Those are wonderful. It's been a while since the days I used to go yard sales a lot--we don't have good ones in this area any more. It would be too much time and gas to find the good ones. Good for you, though!

Hi. I definitely shop at garage sales and thrift stores. Your purchases look like the kinds of things that attract my attention too. My husband never thought much of going to yard sales, then I took him to one that had fishing gear for sale. He bought a rod and reel for $10, and later found it listed in a catalog for $165! Now he thinks yard sales are fun, too!

I'm definitely not a yard sale girl, but if I saw goodies like these at a yard sale, I could quickly become one!

I NEVER find pretty things at yard sales. Maybe because I don't have the patience to dig. :)

How wonderful! Great job! I am definitely a yard sale/thrift shop girl!

The annual three-day 'rummage' sale is coming up in less than two months at one of the churches in town - my youngest daughter and I will be standing in line waiting for the doors to open! They even have shopping carts like at the grocery store! :)
