What I would like to learn to do better is write!

About that sewing... What do you want to know? I'll come over and teach you!

OH!!! We use cloth napkins every single day, and have for over seven years. With a large family, that's a big savings over that much time. BUT, I don't know how to fold them in pretty ways. Tis would be a great thing for me to learn. Hint! I'd also like to learn to knit. Crochet is hard enough, but knitting? Well that's HARD!

OH!!! THIS REALLY WOULD BE NICE FOR ME!

I have the beginning courses to Greek and Hebrew...

I would like to be able to read each first. Then perhaps down the road Latin.

And finally be able to speak each. I have heard raving reviews about Rosetta Stone, but to me the prices hold me back:(

I like the question format a lot! Great Idea!

Hi Deby, I'd like to be able to play the piano, or any instrument, but I don't have the time or the gumption to really work at it....so I'm making sure my kids learn!

I'd love to learn to play the flute! I already play the piano, so the flute should be easy, right? ;)

Deborah, making your kids learn an instrument takes a lot of gumption, too!

I would like to learn to say "no" to things I don't need to be involved in.

But I'm saying "yes" to this contest, especially the napkin book. Big time.

Dear Deby,

You are so generous with all these giveaways! When my youngest daughter was born,I received the sweetest homemade receiving blanket that was flannel with a scalloped crocheted edge on all sides. It is lovely and it would be such a blessing to learn how to do this!

Have a lovely day,

Sharon

Hi Deby, Wow there are so many things I would still like to learn. I have always wanted to be able to play the piano but I am so tone deaf that I think it would be pretty hard to learn. I would like to relearn my shorthand, spanish, and learn more sign language than I already know. I can't believe how much more I am interested in learning than when I was younger.

I would love to play the piano WELL. My current title of "church pianist" feels a little embarrassing when I only plunk out the melody with one hand!

I forgot, I would also like to learn to be my own computer tech-support, as my resident techie has taken a one-way trip to Company G.

And painting/watercolors, that, too!

I would love to learn calligraphy. I think is just beautiful. One day, I will, too. Thank you Deby. connie

I am also a visual learner and it makes me shy to go to group things where I can learn new things. I know that I have missed out on a lot of things because I use this as an excuse.

I have always admired Watercolor paintings. My eldest son's hangs above my fireplace.

It amazes me that the white in a painting is the actual canvas.

Dear Deby;

You are so generous with all these blog giveaways :0)

Well, everything I have ever wanted to learn I have thought myself. But I would like to do better is - how to be a better listener. I come from a large family and we all had to raise our voices to be heard.

I am working on this ;0)

blessings,

mari
