Sunday-Monday

Sunday night we were priviledged to have
Pastor S. M. Davis at our church.
He spoke on "Storm Proofing your Marriage"
Excellent sermon, I had heard him before but never in person.
He is a Pastor in Illinois and also has a Ministry to families.
Please check out his web site:
Solve Family Problems.

Monday

I went and had part 2 of my cardiac testing.
It was not as rough as the first part.
I am waiting for the results and then have a echo
scheduled for next month.
I appreciate the prayers and emails.
I am thankful,
Deby

I will pray for you Deby. I pray that the Lord God will hold your hand through all of this. That He gives you favor with the doctor and nurses and everyone at the hospital. That they will be able to detect what is wrong and it will be very easy to fix. Love Nita

We heard Dr. Davis speak on betrothal early on in our homeschooling years. Although we have known only one other family who followed this model with their daughters, we remain convinced that it is the right way to approach marriage for our daughters. He is a great speaker and a tremendous blessing to his audience.

Father God we thank you that Deby is held in the palm of your hands. You know every hair on her head, and everything there is about her. You control the very next beat of her heart and the very next breath she takes. We are so thankful she is your child and that you love her beyond measure. Amen.

Our family has enjoyed listening to many sermons online preached by SM Davis. What a joy it must have been to hear him in person. I'm glad your first two parts of cardiac testing are behind you. Praying you have good results. [The echo is nothing to dread as far as tests go. I've had a few over the years. I didn't know if you'd had one before and just wanted to encourage you.]

Hugs to you!

I will be praying for you Deby, regarding your cardiac testing. I went through a rough year last year with my "heart health" and had lots of testing and even some hospital stays. God was so good to calm my nerves and I know he will do the same for you as you await the results of your recent test and for your echo next month. : )

And what a treat to hear Mr. Davis! We have some of his teaching tapes and always have appreciated him and the encouragement he is to parents.

Blessings to you!
