I was thinking about many things on my heart.
Might have even crossed the line, into worry and fretting.
This hymn came to mind.
I don't know if ANYONE out there has things on their mind
or can tend to carry them , themselves.
It might be about you, a loved one or situation.
I hope the words to this Hymn speak to your heart.

GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU

~*~*~*~*~*~
Be not dismayed whate'er betide,
Be not dismayed whate'er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath His wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.
~*~
Refrain:God will take care of you,
Thro' ev'ry day,
O'er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.
~*~
Thro' days of toil when heart doth fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
God will take care of you.
~*~
All you may need He will provide,
God will take care of you;
Trust Him, and you will be satisfied,
God will take care of you.
~*~
Lonely or sad, from friends apart,
God will take care of you;
He will give peace to your aching heart,
God will take care of you.
~*~
No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon His breast,
You can Look it up here to listen to.

I need that encouragement today...Mary
Deby, I cannot tell you how much I love this hymn. It is one of my absolute favorites. To know that He will take care of us helps us through the trials. He allows, even gives us trials, but will continue His care until the end. Hallelujah.
Lovely :)
Just what i need today Deby, thank you! God bless.

I love to sing, and learn all the words to a hymn. I was singing this song while working in the kitchen at Bible college. It was getting to the time that there wasn't usually anyone in that part of the building, so I was belting it, really enjoying myself. Then I went out in the hallway, and there was one of the guys, tears just streaming down his face. His fiance had just broken up with him because he wouldn't give up his missionary calling. He was embarrassed I had caught him listening, but he said God had given him the message he needed to hear. He's found himself a nice wife and is serving overseas for the Lord. That song always makes me think of how the Lord not only takes care of us, but also gives us comfort right when we need it!
Oh, I LOVE this hymn!
