it is everywhere

It's everywhere....it is called:
Scotch Broom
It is a weed and you can see it everywhere you look.
It was brought to this area many years ago
but it is now illegal to use as a garden shrub or to plant
more of the seeds. People hate it. When it is
not blooming it is a really ugly plant.

My husband loves when it blooms
as, yellow is his favorite color.
....it is deceptive isn't it.
Kind of like SIN...
Those are my thoughts this morning.

Deby,

How amazing this post was because we just purchased two of these beautiful and fragrant plants for our garden and love the yellow color.

Thanks for sharing what this is and where it grows.

So pretty in its blooming state, Deby. We have acres of mustard where I am - also like sin - very beautiful but severely allergy inducing. Hm.

Quite an analogy!

I think everything in nature can teach us something about God and our relationship to HIM! He was pretty clever that way, don't ya think?!

Hope you are doing well!

Deby, I happen to like the Scotch Broom too. Like most of God's "unwated" I think it's pretty. LOL

And you're right...it's just like sin. Very deceptive!!

Good thought for today!

I've never heard of it but it's so pretty.

It's funny how you can't plant it.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Great thoughts this morning Deby!

Yes very decieving, its blooms bring us all the terrible allergies we have too, so pretty for the eye to look at, but oh me the damage it does, yep...Hugs barbara

It really is nasty, isn't it??? I was noticing yesterday how much of it there is across the street from us....YUK!

We're supposed to have warm weather this weekend! Wooohooo....maybe I can finally do my spring planting.

Hugs,
Spencer
