"I am not a homemaker because I had too little ambition or education to make anything else of myself.
No~~ I am a homemaker because God has given me the infinite honor of being a wife, and I delight in employing every ability that He has equipped me with, in this glad career." Mrs. Lanier Ivester
"Spend your time in nothing which you know must be repented of; in nothing on which you might not pray for the blessing of God; in nothing which you could not review with a quiet conscience on your dying bed; in nothing which you might not safely and properly be found doing if death should surprise you in the act."

Beautiful post by that woman. I sooooo agree with her. I dress by the Lord's standards- most modestly. It's my choice, sugar.

Deby,
What a great post. I think the best thing we can do as moms is model the behaviors we want our kids to see. Sometimes that is the best way to teach!

Thanks Deby or the link. She has a wonderful blog and she is obviously full of wisdom.
So how are you! I've missed dropping by but life has a way...
My neighbors always look at Hannah and me when we ride our bikes. Great post Mrs. Julie wrote about modesty!
