my mom would be so proud

This is a rectangle Granny Afghan
I have started. I have made several in the past.
The thing is.....my mom would always have
to start it for me. I would then go round and round
I couldn't get the hang of reading the instructions.
My mom is in Heaven now. I found the directions
and gave it a try. My mom would be so proud.
I haven't gotten it finished, but I will.
I put it on a basket to show you
and...
YES...
That is my Christmas tree in the background.

Such a pretty pattern. I love the colors you picked, especially the variegated one. Are you planning a lap size or something bigger?

Yup, your mom would be so pleased! :)

It's already beautiful, I can't wait to see it finished. Nice choice of colors.
My mom crochets, I cannot. She has made me some real prtty ones.

Oh Deby ~ the afghan is beautiful! I'm impressed that you have the patience to complete such a project. :o) I can imagine you snuggled safe and warm...or is it for a gift?

How're you doing these days? How can I best pray for you?

I am proud of you gal!! I know your Mom would be too! I've been a little melancholy about my Mom the past few days. Sure do miss her. She was such a special lady and I can't wait to run to her in heaven!!

Have a glorious Thanksgiving, my friend, and know that you are a delight to the Lord and me!
Love and hugs,
Becky

Hi Deby
Thanks for entering my blog give away! I'm also sorry about your foot problems. It is so rough to have foot pain, as I found out with my fractured foot. Hope you feel better soon. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Good job! I am impressed, and I am perfectly fine that it isn't a birthday or Christmas present for me... you know my relationship with yarn and afghans :)

Love you!
