Autumn thoughts

I think this is the first tree I have seen with it's colors
changing. I love this time of year.
I can tell the days are getting shorter...the sun hits differently
crisp mornings...
Autumn, fall...whatever...
It is my favorite Season.
WHAT IS YOURS?
Just a street close to my house.
What I love about the Pacific North WET
is the towering fir trees, everywhere.
Just thought I would share this with you.
~*~*~*~*~*~
Again....
I cannot thank you, enough my friends
for your sweet prayers, thoughts, caring,
cards, care packages.
Oh my, I really have been overwhelmed
by your acts of love.
I am healing, still elevating 95% of my day.
I should be starting physical therapy soon.
By my calendar, I should be walking the end of October
without the boot. I can't wait.

Your "neck of the woods" is sooo beautiful! We visited there a few years ago and we were overwhelmed by the beauty of it.

Glad you are getting stronger each week.

Deby.. fall is my favorite season of the year too.. hands down! I love the coolness in the air, the colors. Even the foods and celebrations are my favorites. ((hugs)) to you today. I am so glad to hear that you will be up and walking relatively soon, my dear♥

Hi Deb! Great to see you photographing and posting again. I'm also glad to hear you're on the mend. I love your header picture and your background; verrrrrrry Autumn. Would like to see some more fall crafts. Visit me to see my pictures of visit to Maine.

Deby,

Since our trees have not yet begun to show the emerging of fall just yet, thank you for sharing yours with all of us.

I love fall (early fall) when it's still sortof dry. But my favorite I believe is Spring - full of new life!!!! I'm still praying for you. I went to the Puyallup fair again this year - we drove through town - what a lovely, quaint place. Would like to go window shopping there sometime. Glad to hear you are getting better even though it is a slow process - physical therapy should help a lot.
Love ya, Vi Abing

I'm glad you are getting better, Deby. Your pictures are lovely. I do like the cooler air, but I still choose Spring as my favorite season.

I don't really have a favourite season anymore. I am enjoying the cooler nights now. Even though I live north of you, we've had a hot, hot summer (with no air-conditioning) with lots of forest fires due to all the trees that have been killed by the Mountain Pine Beetle.

I baked a Shepherd's Pie and cookies in the oven last night, even though it was a hot day again. I always feel more like cooking and baking again in the fall.

I hope and pray that your foot heals well and that you'll be walking well right on schedule.

Fall is my favorite too. By the time we've been hot and humid for months, the cool air is very nice. Of course, we are still hot and humid. No colors or temperatures changing here yet. Our lows are still in the 70's and highs in the low 90's. But it will come!

I definitely love Fall!!!

Spring and Fall. I can leave the hot humid weather or the ice of summer and winter.

Dear Deby;

What joy that you are healing...slowly but it is happening ;-)

Fall and Spring are my favoriate seasons of the year. I come from the tropics, so these seasons are just wonderful to me!

here in the North, the trees are already dressing for fall and they look beautiful!

Many blessings to you,

Lovely tree! We don't have any of the colorful ones yet, but I agree with you that this is my favorite season. Glad you are coming along. You have been in my prayers.

Hi Deby, Fall is my favorite season, hands down. We don't have much of it here in Florida...so I consider it a state of mind for me. I have a wonderful imagination...so I am quite happy. :-)

Continue your healing!!

I tend to like the NEXT season....whatever it may be.
I like Autumn compared to summer because I know cool fronts may be just around the corner. Time to open the windows and enjoy the fresh air and bake things without the oven AND the A.C. on at the same time. Time to wear long sleeve tops and fun jackets that have been put away for what seems like years.
In Autumn, Winter is my favorite season. Holidays come and any hayfever I had because all the pollen in Kansas blew right into my nose is long gone.....I like to take pictures in the Winter....bare trees against pretty skies. I also like my gardens in the Winter because I know most people don't have flowers all year long.
In Winter, Spring is my favorite season. I see my little blue-bonnets are 3 inches high and waiting to get big and bloom. I see leaves come back on the trees. At the end of Winter and beginning of summer, I have a crop of cilantro that comes up all over the yard. This is also the time I find little tiny avocado fruit on my tree and hope they make it until the next October.
In Spring, Summer is my favorite season. We tend to bbq more in the summer, time to go to the beach and I DO love the sun. I go out back and eat dill pickle sunflower seeds, drink my favorite drink and look at Martha Stewart magazines.

I don't mind hot hot days in the summer.........it's the hot hot days in October that get to me.....
cool front are my two favorite weather words........
I'm always happy to go somewhere else for a bit and experience weather in other places!
I like frost on pumpkins but we won't see that down here unless you put your pumpkin in the freezer.
