my kitchen changes

This is my shelf wall in my kitchen now.
WHITE, white...I love it.
I love that I can really put anything with it.
IT is a slow work in progress and more pictures will
follow one day!!!...Not sure when
I love the change and I am thankful for my husband, who is
my painter.

I am loving the softness and lovely look of this.
I have even changed things around a bit since this picture

Got this shelf from a yard sale...$10.00
I see it with lots of potential

Old kitchen COLORS....my husband has repainted the whole
kitchen , WHITE....I am accessorizing with some red, some pink,
some whimsy, what I like and what I FIND CHEAP...CHEAP....
and in no rush....

The white is so cheery and bright. I love it. Your accents make it very feminine, too. Nice!

My kitchen cupboards are WHITE as are most of my dishes (some blue and WHITE..my fav)

I love white also because it shows things/colors so nicely. So easy to mix and match when you choose.

and clean and fresh looking..

VERY NICE DEBY!!!

White is a great choice for the kitchen. I don't know if you've ever seen Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee on the Food Network, but her set is a white kitchen and she redecorates it for very single show. Very versatile.

I like all of your pretties!
I think I am afraid of painting things white, but it *is* a clean and refreshing color. Maybe it is even safe!

I like how you have little pieces of prettiness throughout your home and it just looks right, now gawdy or showy or too foo foo girly....lol.
Your hubby has good taste too. Like someone said, you both work well when it comes to home decorating!

May you have a safe weekend!

God Bless!

LOVE the white. White goes with everything and you can change out your seasonal decor easily and w/o conflicting with accent colors.

Then again, white's my favorite color.

Bless you today,
Jane

I LOVE the new look. It's so very warm and inviting.
I miss my Shabby Chic decor, as I had to compromise with hubby who didn't like it. He likes contemporary, so I have gotten rid of most of my treasured, shabby chic items. I have a dresser/hutch set on craigslist right now that I refinished back in the day. It's so cute!
Someday I hope that when I have my OWN mansion that God will distress all of my furniture just the way I like it.

Hi Deby...
It was so nice to have you stop by my blog. Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my BLUE Cottage bedroom. It just makes me happy!

Dusting..well...to be very honest..I don't do a lot, unless I am cleaning a room..which might be 1-2 a year. Then I really clean every nook and cranny. It always depends on how I feel as well...don't know if this helps but that's my secret! shhhh

Also..love your shelves and your cottage look in your kitchen?...I spy some beloved Johnson Bros plates..I have a set of 6..and many were given to me by my sweet mom.

Have a blessed day!
