You win EVERYTHING
Today's Question
The Country you are living in NOW..not someplace you went to before.
Tell us a favorite spot to visit and why.
Mine is:
I live in the USA
I have loved going to Mt. St. Helen's in Washington State.
Why, you can see the power of God here amongst the beauty of
the mountain. To see the way the volacano dropped trees by it's
force and knowing that it is GOD, not mother nature that controls
all of this...it leaves me in awe.

I live in Israel.
I like to visit The Garden Tomb... the place where Jesus might have been buried. It's so beautiful and peaceful there and it's a wonderful place to meditate on what Christ did for ME.

USA and I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world! This is definitely a God blessed nation. I love going to the Idaho Sawtooth mountains. When I first saw them I was in awe of how gorgeous they were. God really knew what He was doing when he created those mountains! Oh my little sweet apple, those vintage items are lovely!!!

I cannot be area specific, as I love any area that is not man made, city like that witnesses God's creation.

I have been to many states, and both coasts and to the north and to the south, and I am in constant awe of God and His incredible creation, and makes me think of Romans 1:20.

One place I visited recently that absolutely took my breath away is West Point on the Hudson River in New York. The countryside and the majestic mountains are awe-inspiring. Throw in the fairy tale castles of slate and granite, the clouds of fog coming off of the river, West Point's history and historical significance ... MAGNIFICENT! A national treasure.

I live in Canada and LOVE it!!!

A favorite place to visit here is the Sea Wall in West Vancouver, just a few minutes' drive from our house. It's a paved walkway right on the edge of the sea. You have a beautiful view of the ocean, with cruise ships and shipping tankers coming and going; a view of the mountains surrounding the city; and you see and meet people literally from all over the world. It's a popular place for the locals and tourists alike. I just love to take a walk there in the evening as the sun goes down! I could talk about Vancouver for days on end, I think! LOL I'm so glad God called us here.

Oh-la-la, is my name written all over this??? Hehe.

Okay, my favorite spot to visit would be the Oregon Coast -- and the most beautiful beach on the Oregon coast is Bandon Beach in southern Oregon. I love the open spaces, the calming power of even an angry sea, and being able to walk miles in the sand. Such serenity!

Another favorite place --- Mt. Rainier --- for it's beauty and flowers and the majestic mountain peak.

:)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

I live in Canada, and I'm not much of a traveller. Anytime we've taken a trip, I can't wait to get home, so I'd have to say my favorite place to visit is my parents home, 45 minutes away. If you've seen the pictures of their yard, you'll understand why it's my favorite place...besides, it's where I grew up!

The Smoky Mountains of Tennessee is a favorite place to visit. Actually, I think we could easily live here. Beautiful mountains and great water features. Good growing season for gardens. Lots of native flowers. Beautiful nature.....

We live in Iowa. I love Iowa and love to drive to other parts of the state to enjoy what they have to offer. The recent flooding shows us the power of water and the power of people that are wanting to stay in their homes, never giving up, adamant about returning to their hometowns. We have many native flowers that create beautiful views along the roadsides. We have farms that breed horses, cows, sheep, goats, llamas, elk, hogs, chickens, turkeys. Farmers grow corn, wheat, soy beans, clover, hay, oats, barley. We are the bread basket of America.

I live in the USA and proud to be an american! One of my most favorite places to visit is Mammoth. Our family has made lots of family vacations there and is a special place. Almost 7 years ago my father passed away and was cremated. We took his ashes to his favorite creek and as a family spread them together. It is a special place for us still to go, very emotional but very special. To be in the great outdoors gazing on the Lords beautiful land and remembering all the good times we had with our dad.

I live in Texas, USA. I live right on the Gulf coast.

Often we go down to the beach, my husband and I just to see the might power of God when we look out across the vast ocean waters. So much power that he keeps in its boundaries just by his command. It always touches my heart and makes me know WHAT A GREAT AND MIGHTY GOD I SERVE. connie from texas

I live in Canada.

(Hi Susan - I loved to walk along the Sea Wall in Vancouver when we lived there.) It is hard to pick a favourite place! I'll pick one I would love to visit, if it were possible. I would love to visit Prince Edward Island, specifically the tourist village they have set up there for Anne of Green Gables fans. Of the places I have visited, I really enjoyed going to Barkerville, BC. So interesting to see how things looked during the time of the Gold Rush.

Great question, Deby! It's fun to read all the answers!

I am peeking at your site from Jane's blog, she is a good friend, as well as her cat, he likes me a lot. Anyways I wanted to join the fun. I love aprons and collect them, yours would be a welcomed addition.

I live in the USA

I love REvisiting a place where I grew up and have many happy memories. It's a tiny town (8 homes, and a tavern) called Morse, located in Wisconsin. My Granny and Granddad lived in a small home in the woods, surrounded by lots of trees, wild life and an outhouse. I loved playing in the gardens, picking Granny's green apples and crunching them down loaded with salt. Dancing amoungst the trees all the whilst singing to the chipmonks was a favorite daily activity when visiting. I remember the smells of their home heated with a log fires and still find comfort in that odor. There was a long road leading downhill next to their driveway where my brother and I used to trapse down toward town picking Brown Eyed Susans, and stopping at our favorite frog pond to try our luck.

I've heard the forest has taken over now, and things have changed, but not in my mind. I still go back occasionaly and dance through the gardens singing with the birds and chipmonks!

God Bless,
DoriAnn

DoriAnn's scaring me with her dancing through gardens and such. And her cat? Her cat's evil. It hisses at me and raises its back very way much high.

My name is tHaT cAt and I belong to Jane. I live in the United States of America. My favorite place to visit is the front garden to do my "business". Jane doesn't like that. Tough toenails. :oP

Deby,

I live in the USA. I have been to many places and different countries. But I would really like to re-visit the Pacific Ocean, driving on US 1, in a convertible with the top down.

I am the happiest when I am driving. I was born by the ocean and this is really the best place to visit.
