Deby,

Fall is my favorite also! I love the crispness in the air, the leaves changing, the blue sky, my birthday as well!

Which season is my favorite is always hard to answer. I think my favorite season is the next one!!! In the heat of summer, I look forward to crisp fall. In the fall, I look forward to the snow.... etc., etc.

I love the winter because I hate heat and we get HEAT here in the desert. But I love the snow falling. It makes the world so quiet when it starts to fall and I stay in the house if there is even the "HINT" of icy roads. I sit and have a cup of hot cocoa and just love it. Very romantic and peaceful, sweet chick.........

I love fall, too. It's perfect weather -wise, and it's my birthday season. Also, My daughter is named AUTUMN!

My favorite season used to be Autumn.

After this summer monsoon season, I have grown to love summer, as I have been strengthened even more in Him,

FALL! Hands down, no contest. Nothing else even comes close. I love the crisp snap in the air, the blue, blue sky, the smell of wood smoke in the air, crinkly leaves crackling underfoot, the colors of the leaves. But even more than the feast for just my physical senses, I love the feast for my emotions.

Fall makes me homesick for someplace I've never been, speaking to something hidden deep in my spirit. It is the time of harvest and plenty. The intense work of the year is finished and now it's time to slow down and savor. Fall is the time to gather in and take stock. It is the hint of home-centered life to come when the world takes a break...or so it did when the world lived by the calendar.

I was surprised in reading the comments, that no one has chosen spring or summer...? And it seems that fall has a lot of admirers!

I LOVE fall. Same as you, I love all the color, and I also love breathing in the cool, crisp air. I like waking up to see frost on everything and people's yards decorated with bails of hay and pumpkins and smiling scarecrows. I love making homemade applesauce and caramel apples and apple pies. Oh, I could go on and on about fall. Yep, fall is my favorite season.

I like fall also. I like to see all the holiday items in the stores. I like the cooler weather. It is also my birthday in the fall.

I have to agree that the next season is my favorite...except maybe winter!! And I too like the fall colors, but if I have to chose one, I'd say spring...not the muddy part,(even though that's when I got saved!!) but later on when the trees are just leafing out and everything is such a beautiful light green, everything is springing to new life!

What a creative way to do a give-a-way! And those bags are adorable!

I have really learned to appreciate all four seasons because I like the change. Like Terri said, when the end of a season comes I am looking forward to the next one.

I've also found that as I'm getting older, time is passing by so quickly so I don't want to wish *any* of it away. But if I had to be nailed down to choose only one season.....it would be Fall.

Many Blessings,
Michele

I love the Spring, because of all the beautiful flowers. It comes after the long cold winter and is like a new beginning.

Also, in the Spring, we celebrate the new, eternal life our Lord has given us.

Fall was also my Mother's favorite season.

Spring is my very favorite season, because everything is fresh and new. It's not cold anymore, and it's not hot yet. And my birthday is in the spring! I wonder if everyone loves the season they were born in?

Autumn is my absolute favorite. The sound of leaves crunching as I walk, pumpkins, cider, cinnamon and baking.

Hi! I will have to agree that fall/autumn is my favorite season too. The temperatures are just right, not too hot, but not too cold-and the leaves changing colors here in Maine are just gorgeous! School is also back in session for the kiddos and I like the back to school sales and shopping and preparing for the upcoming Holiday Season.

Deby,

My favoriate season is winter. I was born in the Caribbean so the first time I saw, felt, walked on snow, it was one of the most enjoyable moments of my life. I was 11yrs old.

So yes, winter also is a time of rest. A time where you are able to enjoy sitting at home under a warm quilt and not feel guilty that you are not doing something else :)

I am truly enjoying these questions of yours :0)

The temperature is great, the bugs are gone and the trees are beautiful~! It's foot ball season , hunting season , Thanksgiving is coming and it's just all around wonderful. I just wish it was Fall all year round~!

My favorite season is FALL! I think its due to living in FL and our summer's are sooooo hot! Fall is late in coming here, but its a sign that cooler weather and less humidity is on the way! I also love decorating with the rich colors of fall. The reds, oranges, greens, browns, and the wonderfully smelling spice candles! OOH I can't wait!

I love the crisp air of the Fall...the time for a cozy spot and tea...bringing out my favorite sweaters...and the lovely colors of the trees.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday...as it brings so much thought of thankfulness.

I love the smell of gingerbread baking and the happy smiles of my grandchildren when they decorate the Gingerbread people at Nana's

I simply adore autumn--cool,crisp mornings and warm afternoons. Halloween is my fave holiday. Pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns, going to the apple farm, the way the woods smell in fall-falling leaves, big piles of leaves and children jumping in them -yep--autumn....

Linda ★ Parker's General said...

The would be winter-yes, winter. I love the decorations, the family gatherings, buying gifts, sharing fellowship at church.
I love to play in the snow with the grandkids and make snow ice c ream for them. We all love cocoa and a warm fire. Good time for being close on the couch, eating popcorn and watching movies. Yep--winter is good times....

Spring is awesome. I love it when the farmers start turning the ground for planting. The smell is so awesome. I love the smell of lilacs-that is my fave smell in the world. I also love the bulbs that bloom and the sounds & smell of mowing. I love the gentle rains that replenish the earth and make the garden ready for radishes and potatoes among other cooler weather crops. i love Easter and being reminded of how our Saviour gave His life for us. I love watching the grandkids hunt for the eggs. I love watching our dogs go out and roll in the grass, how happy they are that the ground is warming up. Yep-I love spring.

Linda ★ Parker's General said...

Ahhhh! Summer-when the living is easy-HAH! This is when the real work begins, but we love it. The garden is jumping with things that need to be canned or frozen. The grandkids want the pool filled and the hose/sprinkler on. The dogs are panting after 3 minutes outside but refuse to come in. We get to eat fried green tomatoes, sliced tomatoes, fresh green beans with ham, corn on the cob is luscious and plentiful. But we are not grasshoppers. We are ants and we store and preserve everything possible, getting ready for the long winter months ahead. Yep--summer is a great season....

I love fall the best. It is such a reprieve after the dreadful summers in East Texas. I love the smell in the air. To me fall is the only season that you can actually "smell". It's like all of a sudden you go outside and you can smell that fall is here. I love it!
