Foundation Baptist Church

Last night at our Missions conference we were blessed to have Pastor and Mrs. Matt Farinella.HE is a church planter in Washington State. MY state is not a state that has many good solid churches.Sometimes this can almost be classified as a very yuppie, affluent area...at least the Seattle area and areas surrounding it. Sometimes where there is more affluencey, people do not see their need for a Savior.Would you pray for the Farinellas' work...if you vacation out this way visit them. You will be blessed. If you are in the Seattle, Bellevue,Issaquah, Redmond area....they are pretty close by in Sammamish.

Hi Deby,
Thank you for visiting my blog! I appreciate the kind comments.:)

I just love the name of your blog! Thank you for such a lovely place to visit.

I'm just like you...crocheting the basic stitches for the most part. (I have a book for when I need something fancier.:)I learned to knit at the turn of the century. ;) The last one!

Nice looking family. May the Lord use them mightily. America is so needy and it's always a blessing to see workers in the vineyard, wherever it may be. You are so right, the affluent areas are the most difficult.

I'll pray for them, as well. Missionary families have always been close to my heart.

I will count it a privilege and pleasure to pray for that young family. What they are attempting is so admirable in today's climate. And what a pretty family they are!

Deby ~ What a lovely looking family and what a wonderful ministry. I did not know you lived in WA; my son and I were discussing that area this very afternoon! :o) There seems to be a strong homeschooling community there (but I'm not sure how conservative they are) and lots of artists. We live in the belt buckle of the Bible belt, but we desperately need strong, expository preachers here, too.

I've gotten very far behind in commenting on blogs, so I'm going to catch up all at once. :o)

It looks like you have been rather busy yourself, but in such wonderful ways!! Congratulations on your baptism! Happy 50-something birthday ;o) and Happy 36th Anniversary! May the Lord bless you richly in your spiritual life, your health and your wonderful marriage.

Jodi,
Glad to see you again...
This area does have alot of homeschooling...but this state is said to be one of the most UN-churched states in our nation..our county is said to be #1
We need more solid churches that is for sure...
