I could not and would not do it.
There is nothing that I would want enough
to spend the night in the cold...
must be getting old?
I just thought..
If ONLY
people were so EAGER to hear
the GOSPEL...
AFTER ALL...
it is The only thing that is going to matter.

Not for me either. No way, no how. I see people fighting over getting the "right" gift and they are missing out on the PERFECT ONE.
Love to stop by and visit...
Love, Rebecca
Oh my goodness, AMEN to that, sugar!!!

Hi Deby...
Black Friday came and went with me at home this year. In my 24 years of marriage, I went shopping twice on Black Friday. The first time I went was over 20 years ago, and the second time was in 2008! It was terrible. Not my idea of a fun day. And yes, I too wish people were as anxious to hear and do the things of God as they (including myself) are to find a good bargain, etc. I'm not against shopping, but I don't enjoy the snatching and grabbing. I always enjoy your post...I dont' always take time to comment, but you are a blessing to me. Happy December!
PS. Do you mind if I borrow the "Home maker" quote on your side bar??? Love it!
AMEN Deby!!!!
AMEN to that! The world is so hungry for more "stuff" to fill the void in their hearts that only a relationship with Christ can fill. Been praying for your "toesies" to heal. Love you, Susie
Hi! No I don't do BF either! I like the holidays to be joyful and relaxing! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I like how you dressed up your blog!
Not me either, Deby ~ Truly said, if only people were hungry for the gospel of Christ.
...filling the void in their lives with **stuff**.
I'm with you.

Black Friday isn't tempting to me at all! It just screams frustration and irritation. I just wouldn't want to look at people and be irritated with them when I should look at them and think, could I share the gospel with them? I also don't think there is anything worth all the time and energy (waisted) just to save a couple of dollars on it. We have everything we could possibly need and as for gifts, I'll spend the extra five bucks and avoid the hub bub! God bless and hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

The ONLY place I went on Black Friday was to Michaels Craft Store - they always have such wonderful buys for crafting items and they aren't really that busy.
I'm enjoying your daily blog. Can't wait to see what is next.
Love ya, Vi Abing
Not for me either....
So true!
I am with you on the Black Friday stuff!
How true that is!
With you all the way on that! I did try to take part in Cyber Monday and even that was stressful!
AMEN, Deby! I wish more people would want to celebrate for the REAL reason of the season. Merry Christmas!
