~~Just me

"The fact that I am a woman
does not make me a different kind of Christian,
But the fact that I am a Christian
does make me a different kind of woman."
~~ Elisabeth Elliot
~*~*~*~*~
My heart's desire is this quote is true about my life.
Lately.......if I were to run on feelings and emotions...
welllll...let's just say ...
I am so thankful for God's grace and mercy.
Still pressing on, as many and most of you are.
Keep looking to Jesus !!

Deby,

I have never heard of that quote before but love it! It is true that being a woman doesn't define us as a Christian but it does make us a different kind of woman once we become one.

I LOVE this quote...I've copied it prior myself just to keep in my journals.

Absolutely...we are DIFFERENT women because we are Christians...
desiring to be what HE wants us to be not the world! AMEN...

I thank GOD we have the freedom to be women professing godliness...as he guides us into all truth and yes, Deby..gives us the GRACE to be "what we ought to be".

Thank you for the BLESSING you are!

Aawww, Deb, praying God's best for you sweet friend!!! And am so thankful, too for His mercy and grace!! I heard a good teaching today from Joyce Meyers. She said that if God isn't dealing with something as quickly as you would like Him to that He is building faith that you will need at a later date. Hope that ministers to you in some small way.

Love you,
Becky

I could not agree more, sugar. The world needs softer and gentler women than we are seeing now.
