What's Up ?

The calendar says *SPRING*

Our Sunday morning surprise

Here in the Puget Sound we are known for our WET
as in the Pacific-North"WET"
NOT
..WHITE..
......I prefer WET.....
actually a few days of sunshine would be nice
But....I am learning to be content, even with the the weather.
It is a process, this learning to be content, thing.
~deby
Philippians 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want:
for I have learned,
in whatsoever state I am,
therewith to be content.

We got a big snow yesterday too.
(check my new post for pics) but it is all but gone today. I just know Spring will come soon, but I hope we don't jump right into summer! It's nice to have time to prepare.

We have snow here today.. except ours came this morning instead of yesterday. I am hoping it'll be the last snow of this year *fingers crossed!*

We were supposed to get 4 inches of snow here but all we got was sleet and rain. It was really cold too.

That looks so unreal to me. It has been in the higer 70's here for several days. Really beautiful days. I noticed it has come a shower a little while ago. The Spring will come we can be assured of that fact, He promises it. connie

Hope you are enjoying your new home.

Your Sunday surprise was very pretty though! We had a Sunday surprise in Florida as well. A big thunder storm and refreshing rain to drench our drought ridden sod!!! My lawn and landscaping were so happy!

Oh my! I didn't know folks were still getting more snow! We've been seeing sure signs of spring around here. Don-t worry--it's coming!

You got snow! We haven't seen any for a couple of weeks now, and I'm glad of it. It is cold and rainy though!

Your soup is ready! Hey, were those Bibles the Rock of Ages KJV
Study Bible? I have one and it is a very good study Bible. These are printed in soft cover and given to inmates. The notes are great and the print a good size. Great!

No kidding!! We were driving back from Cabela's that night and it was really coming down in that area!! Fortunately, it was all too warm here where I live... snow makes it very hard for us to get to church!

Looks cold! My kids still think snow is amazing and wonderful-but they've not seen much of it. They would love it if it snowed. I understand how one could get sick of it though.

What a surprise! My daughter is going home..there and it's been like Summer here!

Oh how much we must learn about contentment...I'd love to be there with SNOW! and here I am with near summer weather. The other day was just lovely with SPRING weather and my Hydrangea starting to bud!

Soon it will be there Deby...maybe my daughter will bring it with her...she is a ray of SUNSHINE!

Blessings..

Ah yes...contentment...I am more contented than ever, but still not where I know I can be!! I'm walking right beside you down the road to contentment!! Thankfully, God is perfectly patient, and delights even in my sometimes snail-like pace of growth in this area!! Like Dory says "Just keep swimming, swimming , swimming!!" (make that walking, walking walking!!)

Love and hugs!!
Becky

We had the same last week but warmer, sunny days are forecast for this weekend :o)

Spring IS just around the corner ... somewhere!

I know that sooner than I'd like, the hot and humid days of summer will be upon me so I'm trying to be content with whatever the Lord gives us weather-wise :o)

Blessings!
