a visit to Sallys

Recently we went to a Farewell dinner
given by a colleague of my husband.
Oh it was such a nice evening.
Her home is what is called a 1912 Craftsman Home.
There is so much detail.
These pictures do not do it justice.
What I enjoyed most was her gift of hospitality
You walk in and immediately feel at home.
There are things like that I could learn from her.
Just do it, do not wait until everything is perfect.
Hope you enjoy the pictures
This is her fireplace
it was recently redone
Dining room

Kitchen
Dinner was WONDERFUL

Above her stove.
What I like is this is not just for looks.
She uses everything she hangs up
She is a great cook and even better baker
Her desserts and cakes are always a bit hit.

I love the fireplace...I'd be tempted to clutter it with a bunch of antiques...lol.

Looks like a cozy home...I always thought I wanted a pot rack but not sure if I want my pots and pans hanging in the kitchen...I would have to keep dusting them.

Have a great day!

I love her home!! I want one of those things to hand my pots and pans on over my stove. That looks so handy. The fireplace is beautiful. connie
