Can't figure it out---come on sure you can.
TWO different shoes
Clark's Clog--Crocs
Both are Black (really the clogs are a dark Navy)
Well, Saturday
I went shopping for groceries etc...
I was driving home and I thought ?????
Something feels funny---
duh---
Looking down at my feet in the car
lo, and behold
I had worn TWO different shoes out.
I just started laughing at myself so hard.
People have asked:
"Did anyone look at you funny"
How would I know,
I am in my old world when I am grocery shopping.
So now I have to do a *shoe check* before I go out.
Hey, it's not all bad,
I got a blog post out of my *moment*
and lot's of laughter.

HAHA! I love it!~ I'm surprised you couldn't feel the difference earlier... aren't you? I'll bet no one noticed at the store! Hee hee... a great memory for you indeed. :):) Love it.
At least they're the same color! :)
Oh, that is so funny!! Thanks for the laugh!
LOL too funny! :) I love Clark's clogs by the way.....I have a pair and wear them all the time to do errands, they are comfortable!

Love the picture of the two different shoes! I've been really absent-minded, but that hasn't happened - YET. Thanks for sharing - from those of us who are just the same!
Looking for that blessed hope-

Bwahahahaha!
This is too funny, Deby. At first I thought the post would be about your favorite shoes and golly gee, where shoes are discussed, I'm there! A bit of a shoe-aholic I am. ;o)
But then as I read your post I burst out laughing. Thank you! Of course ***I*** would never do anything so lame as to wear two different shoes mind you. No. Not me. Nosireebobjanemark. hehe.
Love the shoes though..both makes. Two of my faves.
I have done that with similar shoes but different heel heights.
How I got all the way to the store before noticing, I'll never know.
Laughing with you.
Now that is funny, Deby.
Oh Deby, you are SO hilarious! By the way, those shoes are both cute. Who knows? Maybe some young person saw your feet and thought it was a cool new thing. You may have started a trend!
Don't even tell me about it until you arrive home and discover you've got your pants (outside pants) over wrong side out!! Thank heavens they were dark blue, honey! I couldn't believe it. They were drawstring so I didn't notice, chick!
xoxo,
Connie
Dear Deby,
I don't think I have done that one yet - but at least when I do I will be able to know that someone has gone before me!
At least they were the same color and likely very few people noticed, if anyone!
I remember going out to the street to get mail from our box well dressed; till I realized I had on a beautiful blouse over a full slip and no skirt on. Yes, I'd forgotten my skirt.
I glanced casually around to see if I could spot any onlookers, held my head high and headed for the door.
I'm just glad I wasn't at church
where I lost a half slip in the foyer once. Life goes on.........
I am rolling!I have no thoughts except perhaps some did notice and You gave them a wonderful chuckle!
I figure if I do something like this that the people I don't know, don't matter. The people I do know will either tell me or over-look it. Either way, somebody might get a good laugh out of it!
Funny but really embarrassing is when you get home and realize you had an article of clothing on wrong side out. Yep, I did that one!
How funny! It's good you can laugh at yourself. Although I don't think I have any two pairs of shoes that are as similar as yours, it might just be a good idea to check, especially on those "fibro fog" days!
Deby, that is so funny. I woke my husband laughing. I have always had a fear of doing something like that.lol. It sounds like me. I am sure no one noticed but if they did, I am sure they had a much needed laugh or smile also. connie
as long as you act like it is supposed to be like that other people will envy you for having the fashion sense to start a new trend!!!
if you were still a school girl...all the rest of the girls would want to copy you...
next time wear a black one and a brown one...
You're a hoot!!! Love the comfort of Crocs, don't you?
Deby,
I had to laugh when I read your post! The same thing happened to me. I also wear Clarks clogs, and have three or four pairs. I had two pairs by the bed one day, and was rushing out of the house to go somewhere...it wasn't until I got home I realized I had two different shoes on! Thankfully all my shoes are black. lol!!
That is sooooo funny Deby! You crack me up! I've done similar over the years with earings, socks and shoes. Thanks for the giggle!
hugs, Sharon
I have worn my old and I mean old houseshoes to church before. We just get so busy. Have a great day my friend...m..
Ohh Deby! You are so funny! That is HILARIOUS!!!!
Oh that is funny Deby. I have two pair of the same style shoe - one in brown and the other in black. I live in dread of doing the very same thing. So far so good!
Too funny Deby! As others have already said, I'm sure if anyone did notice, they probably received a much needed chuckle that day :o)
LOL!!! Oh Deby! That is so funny. I've worn two different socks before-one black, one navy blue. I guess the shoes are next. Life would be so dull if we didn't have these kind of moments. Thanks for the belly laugh!!
Thanks for visiting my blog - come back anytime.
Your grandson in darling... LOL with your shoes (I accidentally did that when I went to the gym one day - I threw my running shoes in my bag & it ended up being one of each from two different pairs - I didn't realize this until I got to the gym 35 minutes away - I didn't want to waste all my time so I just wore the two different shoes & hoped no one noticed my oversight!!)
Great uplifting blog you have here!!
I agree with you, I too am
"dismayed GREATLY over all the changes happening in our country. We need so badly to stay focused and in the WORD and encourage each other."
We are also deepening our pantry too & trying to get prepared for tough times ahead!
That was so funny! I have done the same thing when I was younger. We went to hear Bro. Roloff preach about 3 hours away and we were on a church bus when my mom noticed it!
Deby, that is too funny. I remember some employees pointing at me in the grocery store one day. I discovered I had my tee shirt on backwards, and of course it had to be one with a pocket on it. Sigh.
This happened to me, too. I'd forgotten about it until I read your funny post! It was back when I was single and in my twenties living in an apartment near my office. Because I didn't have to go far or worry about traffic too much, I used to cut it really close in the mornings. I remember that I often had a glass of milk in one hand and a muffin in the other and would race into the closet to step into my shoes and head out the door. Well one day I got to work and set down at my desk and happened to glance down and see two different shoes on my feet. Both black high heels, but very different. I snuck back home and made the switch - I was so embarrassed, but I was young. Now, I think I would just laugh and wear them all day to see people's reactions.
As Mom always said, haste makes waste!
