Season Salt

Picture from Flickr

I have been using this recipe for Season Salt
for years now.
I give it as gifts.
You can use it on ANYTHING.
I try to buy organic herbs.
ALSO I have used, Sea salt, pickling salt,
low sodium salt.,they all work
You can alter it.
~~ooOoo~~
1 cup Salt
2 tsp. Black pepper
1 TBSP. garlic granules or powder
2 tsp. onion granules or powder
1 TBSP Sweet Paprika
1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. pasilla pepper or chili powder
1/2 tsp. Lemon Peel granules (optional)

I mix and store it in a zip lock
EVERYONE loves it
and guess what NO msg.
You know what is in it.
~~ooOoo~~
I found this recipe in a cookbook called:
Battling the "MSG MYTH"
I have used this recipe on my blog with the author
Debbie Anglesey's Permission
I think this book and all of it's information is a asset to
any kitchen.
~~ooOoo~~
and Remember:

Colossians 4:6
Let your speech be alway with grace,
seasoned with salt,
that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Hey ... thanks. I needed to email you about something, but deleted your email prior to adding you to address book - can you email me so I have it? I needed help with some sitemeter things. I can't get the counter at the bottom page - also how do I figure out where people are from, etc.
Thanks!

Thanks for the recipe and link.

I've known for a long time that MSG is a dreadful thing for a body to consume from unfortunate personal experience on my part and my husband's ~ NOT pleasant(o:

Because of my heart transplant, I follow a very low sodium regime so I'll use this recipe for everyone else and thanks for the verse reminding us to be "seasoned with salt", speaking in grace.

Oh WOW! Awesome recipe! I HATE MSG, it's so evil for our bodies! Yet it's in so many things... esp. flavoring items or seasoned items. Thanks!!

this recipe looks very good...I think I will try it...the best thing is no MSG...
I am praying for you as you adjust to your daughters moving...
both of my girls have moved away from me and it was very difficult until I got used to it...
now we all three have blogs...so it is easier to keep up with what is going on with the other....
and of course we keep the phone lines busy...

I love your comment about being **Rapture Ready**. I too, am Rapture Ready. Come Lord Jesus Come!

I think of the song that goes,

"Soon and very soon, I am going to see the King...Hallelujah..."
