Done with Curly ribbon and flags.I used the Flags that come on toothpicks.
I cut off the end and strung thread through them
This little bird enjoys the top of the tree.
We still turn the lights on now and then

I got the tree at K-mart during Christmas...if you scroll down you can see what I have done through the year..I am going to change it during the fall...then I will put up our Christmas tree..we have really enjoyed the *glow* from it all year..my husband wants me to do it again next year..we have dark days here in Seattle land...thanks Valerie for asking.

I am a very patriotic American, but living in Scotland at the moment, and I am always terribly homesick on our most patriotic days.
