For Sharon
Tomorrow morning, the 19th, my good blog friend, Sharon, of "Keeper of the Home" is having back surgery. Please join many of us in prayer for her.

I just made a notation in my little prayer journal I've started keeping here at the computer. I knew she was having surgery and I should have marked it down then.
"I am not a homemaker because I had too little ambition or education to make anything else of myself.
No~~ I am a homemaker because God has given me the infinite honor of being a wife, and I delight in employing every ability that He has equipped me with, in this glad career." Mrs. Lanier Ivester
"Spend your time in nothing which you know must be repented of; in nothing on which you might not pray for the blessing of God; in nothing which you could not review with a quiet conscience on your dying bed; in nothing which you might not safely and properly be found doing if death should surprise you in the act."
