Hi Deby, I feel I haven't been here in so long. Thank you for praying for me. I sure need it! I like your new blog look. Your friend rose looks like a rose indeed. You are very rich to have her. I wouldn't mind a rose like that in my life. :) I am coke/pepsi free now - three weeks and counting - I do drink some caffeine tea to get me going. Bravo for you. I love the dog sleeping on your Feb. 4th post. I'm sorry you were sick. I'm keeping vigil with my 14 year old who has contracted the real-live-genuine-flu. :( It is going to be a long week. Love, Cathryn
Great Post!!! There is no dearer friend than Jesus and no greater love than that He has showed us by giving His life for us on Calvary. Hope you had a wonderful valentine's Day!!
I want to thank you so much for praying for me while I have been ill. I am now able to sit at the computer for longer periods of time without my wrist and arm hurting and I am so thankful. I have missed visiting with you. Thank you for being such a good friend.connie
Hey Deby!! You made my day even better when you told me that you get up with your hubby, too!! We get up, hubby gets in the shower, I iron his clothes, make his breakfast and pack his lunch, and kiss him goodbye, too!! I honestly don't know anyone else who does this!! I have done this for years, and wouldn't have it any other way!!
I know I told you this before, but I just love your profile pic!! Your smiling eyes just bless me!!
Deb, Just getting back to visit after the giveaway.
The scripture and picture are beautiful!
Would it be OK if I copy them to use? Either on my blog, or on a 'treasure'. (oh, how about that, a treasure on one of my treasures?)
(We do faithfully pray for our pastor every night, but a great reminder anyway.)
Blessings. Going back to read more.
Oh, love how you wrote on my comment page (nothwet girl) Not sure if it was a typo or not, but oh so true. In Oregon, we are wet a good deal of the time.=0)
Congratulations to the winners of the books! That was a nice giveaway.
My daughter found a copy of 'In Tune with Wedding Bells' at a thrift store and bought it for me. The other GLH books I have, I bought from Anna at Pleasant View Schoolhouse.
DEBY! Love the new blog look. Very pretty for spring and fresh looking! Liked your advice (reminer) to pray for our pastors. I think they're really going to need more strenght and power in the upcoming "ERA"!
DEAR DEBY, WHAT A WOMAN OF WISDOM YOU ARE---I LOVE YOUR COMMENT AND SCRIPTURE FROM JAMES 3:16. I HAVE ONLY BEEN BLOGGING FOR OVER A MONTH NOW. I JUST SAW YOUR GRAPHIC ON BARB'S BLOG AND I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD USE THIS GRAPHIC AS A SIDEBAR ON MY BLOG: THERE'S AN ANGEL ON MY FRONT PORCH. I WOULD HAVE IT WHERE IF YOU CLICKED ON THE GRAPHIC IT WOULD COME TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL BLOG. BLESSINGS debbie
"I am not a homemaker because I had too little ambition or education to make anything else of myself.
No~~ I am a homemaker because God has given me the infinite honor of being a wife, and I delight in employing every ability that He has equipped me with, in this glad career." Mrs. Lanier Ivester
"Spend your time in nothing which you know must be repented of; in nothing on which you might not pray for the blessing of God; in nothing which you could not review with a quiet conscience on your dying bed; in nothing which you might not safely and properly be found doing if death should surprise you in the act."
