What I did what printed my scipture on regular paper.
I cut it, stamped some flowers around it and mounted it on red cardstock.
I bought a package of laminating sheets at WAL-mart CHEAP
You can also use clear contact paper.
I laminated both sides and put some magnetic tape on it.
You don't have to use stamps...just cut out flowers from magazines, or stickers
or let your children decorate them
Voila' A reminder--that I need to read and heed !!!
I think in the days ahead we are going to really have to depend on the
promises in the WORD OF GOD, don't you?

Yes, I believe we are going to need to cling to the promies of God as our country is headed in a scarey direction. God is good all the time and He knows no surprises. Have a wonderful week!
Good afternoon Deby, I love this idea. I know so many of the sympathy cards I received after mother's death had such sweet verses and I would use them as bookmarks and read and re-read the verses often. The refrigerator magnet idea is perfect. Thanks and have a good day.
Great idea...
and yes we need to lean on Him don't we!
Thanks for the great idea! I agree, in the days ahead, we are definately going to depend on scriptures.
hugs
candy
Amen!
I love doing this. I have scripture all over the house lol.
I love making bookmarks with scripture this way also....fun to give to friends. I need to go get more card stock and laminating paper.
Phil 4:8 is such a great verse to live by. I think our thought life can be so destructive, and if we take this verse, memorize it, and then judge it with our thoughts, it can make a HUGE difference! We can ask ourselves is this thought
true, is it lovely, ect, ect.
Great Job On That, very cute!
Hi Deby,
Thanks for stopping by...and commenting!! It's always so much fun visiting, but I've been on a mini get-away from blogging, trying to finish my decorating jobs, which are many...all before GARDENING SEASON arrives.
What a wonderful Scripture reminder!!
;-)
Deby,
That was my second memory verse for this year. I carried around an index card (as Beth Moore suggested), but having it on the fridge would have been a big help.
Thanks for the great idea!
This is so nice. I especially like to use these "reminders" when I'm working on memorizing a passage of Scripture.
Although, I usually just scratch mine out on a 4x6 card. Yours looks very lovely.
Great idea, Deby!
Your refrigerator embellishment is really lovely, you did a wonderful job of creating something for beautiful and edifying for very little money!! Several years ago I bought some magnets that have Scriptures interposed over Thomas Kinkade images. I have kept them all these years, and they adorn my refrigerator even now. I still routinely read those verses and thank God for them!
Beautiful, Deby, I just love that scripture verse.
Great idea Deby I bought a book of memory verses for my grandkids & I know what we will do now when they visit they will love making these cards!!!! Thank-you Marie x
What a wonderful idea! I love the scripture. Thanks for sharing it.
You are soooo talented!
