My "new to us" home
needed a name. This is what I came up with,
based on the fact that we live on a slight hill
*Hill~Light Cottage*

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world.
A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Matthew 5:15
neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel,
but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

I love it Deby! As time allows you should have a plaque made up with the name or the verses or even an emblem for the name. Nalley has a friend in the sign business who made a driveway sign for our "Circle of Love." The sign prompts many people to ask the story behind the name and gives us an opportunity to share.
I like it! Great verses to go with it...maybe you could have a sign made with the scripture below the name.

I really love it. My home came with a name that is aptly 'Tall Pines Farm'. I think I'll keep that since it sounds quaint and really IS surrounded by Tall Pines! :)
I think all homes should have a name. I'm still thanking God continually for our beautiful little farm. Enjoy your new home, Dearest. I love your new header picture!
