Glimpse of my Season Tree

This is a glimpse of my

"Season Tree"

I used a punch to make light pink and dark pink snowflakes.

The little strings of hearts are made with stickers strung on quilt thread.

I used a punch for a paper type yo-yo--

Today I am working on my tree a bit...

This stuff will stay on through February.

I am trying to make this simple--fun--

We are enjoying the glow of the lights.

The innocence of children

Awhile back, can't remember when. 

We were at my friend Rose's house.

She showed me a card she had received with the above picture on it.

It is a painting by artist, Kathy Fincher.

Welllllll....we were at what is called "Preachers Delight".

Gracious Christian Living was there and had a table set up.

I was so excited to find this painting matted and framed.

The price was a DEAL. I couldn't refuse and was able to

 purchase one for Rose and myself. I love this painting.

 Haven't you done this with children?  I know I have.

There is a innocence to this painting that I just love.

Gracious Christian Living has a website and you can request a catalog.

You might find something just right for your home.

I miss the glow

I always miss the glow of my tree...

so this year I have decided to try and

keep the glow going...especially

since we have so many months of dark, dreary days.

We got this cheap...at K-mart.

I am thinking I would like to make it a

"Season tree"

Have lots of ideas swirling in my mind.

It's just at the beginning stages right now..

but thought some of you might want to see it...

Lots of potential, is what I see...

what does that mean?
Can you say it with a accent?
That is what I do with words I read
on bloggers who have word verification ?
Once in awhile I am annoyed by this added duty....
but then you get a word:
"OPSTRA"
and I say it with a FAKE Swedish
accent, and it becomes fun....
hope it doesn't really mean
anything.....

We were at Sears...my beloved and I, in the tool department.

I had no choice but to be there, as for any outing more than

10 or 15 minutes, I have to be in a wheelchair.....

Wellllll......as we walked , this man of mine got stars in his eyes.

Yellow is his favorite color....and Craftsman tools, his favorite toys.

I will add that he uses them all.

....thankfully, I had my camera , as there is no way

we could afford this. It is in the THOUSANDS.....but he did

look this precious YELLOW CRAFTSMAN tool bench and had

those stars in his eyes and the smile on his face.

I was out on Saturday...my sister looked at me...

and said "Did you forget your mascara"

....felt my eyelashes...and yepppp...I did.

Not the end of the world...but I thought:

"Do I need to make a detailed check list"

In the scheme of things, no big deal...BUT

I am tryinig to post everyday...

by Dr. Norris Blecher.

It was one of those where you think:

"EVERYONE NEEDS to Listen to THIS"

"ARE WE SEEING THE JUDGEMENT OF GOD"

It is one that just encouraged me to realize:

GOD is in CONTROL

and what should *I* do during these times.
