just so clever.
Does it replace, tracts, one on one, etc?
NO
but it does get the WORD out and all it takes is a
Sharpie and a ROCK

Monday

I went and had part 2 of my cardiac testing.
It was not as rough as the first part.
I am waiting for the results and then have a echo
scheduled for next month.

I was thinking of all the things we have done,

as women to try to improve our looks.

Look at this little girl, it starts so young.

I would guess this is one of those early

permanent days...or is it?

I have read recently most women

have their hair done, more to please

other women, rather than what

their spouse likes.

I think I would agree with that statement.

Anyways, this picture sure tickled my funny bone and reminded me of my

first experience as a 5 year old getting my long hair cut off and getting a

very curly perm. When I see the old movies of it,

I CRINGE.

Do you ever mull things around in your mind?

I do, and sometimes , I THINK I do to a fault.

I was mulling again today, and this verse came to mind,

or should I say a portion of this verse came to mind.

Happy Birthday Sweet GINA

She is married to our son, Matt.

They are parents to our granddog "Husker" a Shiba-inu

Gina, is one of the most kind people I have ever met.

She is easy to be around.

She has a great decorating sense and a immaculate housekeeper.

She is a hard diligent worker, she helped my husband put the siding up on

our house one summer. She was working hard ,days and days in the heat.

Gina went to a Christian college and taught school,

she is now doing something different.

She loves to travel .and with Matt being a pilot, this sure makes it easier.

They used to live in our area and we would see them often,

now I can't even drive to their area without tearing up.

I love it, that she loves our son and even more so , that she loves the Lord.

Gina, we love you and miss you.

I was thinking about many things on my heart.

Might have even crossed the line, into worry and fretting.

I don't know if ANYONE out there has things on their mind

or can tend to carry them , themselves.

I was thinking about this post

and I PRAY it doesn't appear judgemental

or like I have arrived.

I am not, I have not.

IF you think I am pointing a finger...

remember then..there are 3 pointing back to me,

I am in the process too.....after spending 10 hours in ER

a couple of weeks ago, not knowing...

This I KNOW

I KNOW FOR SURE !!!!!

IF I DIED I WOULD have gone to:

HEAVEN.

and

THE peace that this has brought in my life

has been life changing for me,

in my heart...

In my life,

thoughts,

and yet...I have so far to go...

and the flesh cries out everyday.

But this I DO know

I AM GOING TO HEAVEN

and after being a so called Christian (I was not)

it does bring peace to me

that I am sure I am saved...

A Micah Break

Today my husband and I took a great break....I would recommend this too.

We listened to a sermon by Pastor Craig Houston, Westside Baptist Church,

Bremerton, WA. I told him, my husband that I was going to blog about it as a recommend today. He agreed it was really good and we both were encouraged in our walk with the Lord...toes stepped on, which is a *good thing*.....

So do you need to be encouraged....TAKE a Micah break..

The title is called: "Is My Life Fulfilling the Lord's Requirements"

Get out your Bible, maybe a notebook, if you take notes....a cup of

your favorite drink, mine was coffee today.

UPDATE....Lead free...something to think about

I no longer have information on lead and companies

with what amounts they have.

UPDATE on the bottom of this POST

I have been talking with a friend recently and also a family

member. We discussed safety in cooking and eating.

I know almost everything I own, says "made in China"

Well, I wondered as I am sitting here drinking out my big

mug, that says Made in China....is THIS LEAD FREE??

Think about this, (no paranoia please).....

of all the toys that were recalled......

all the autoimmune diseases....what if we , you and I,

can improve our bodies by just being a bit more savvy and careful?

So...I googled...*lead free dishes, lead free cookware*

I am not posting this trying to make us *crazy weird* over this,

but if lead is no longer allowed in paint, WHY ...in some

of the dishes we eat off of?

Something to think about.

I know we cannot take everything out of our lifestyle.

I know you can jump of the deep end on this kind of thinking.

the dishes I use, WHITE CORELLE which

has 1/10 of 1 part per million Lead

The FDA allows this.

Not sure about all of this..

more to come....as I sit here drinking out of

a coffee mug made in CHINA

I am not being paranoid

JUST WONDERING

and doing a little homework.

My feet hurt, my legs hurt....my sister Lisa kept on telling me to get a pair

of what I considered to be a ugly,overpriced plastic pair of shoes.

She told me that I would love them....I didn't believe her...

I am the *older sister* and KNOW MORE.......WRONG.....

I bought them....

yesterday was my first day with them on in my house and what a difference.....

I will try them with my denim skirt when I go out somewhere and see how they work

especially on those hard concret floors of Home Imrovement stores and Co*tco

Do I think they might be overpriced for Plastic....

yeah maybe..but if they hold up....and make a difference...they will be worth it.

Forgotten Worth--Shown Tell Friday

I am participating in Kelli's Show and Tell Friday.

Please go on over and see the other wonderful

things that people have on their blogs.

I found this Counted Cross-stitch at a Goodwill. I bought it
not because I thought it the most stylish, wonderful thing I
had ever seen...but because of what it represents. To me it
shows many hours of loving handwork. I used to do some basic
cross-stitch, but I never got to this level of detail. I would be overwhlemed.
On the back it says done by Dawn (will leave off the last name) 1996
..and here it was at Goodwill, I just could not leave it there.
I don't know IF it was a gift or her own possession, nonetheless, it was Forgotten
....and I rescued it for .99.......that is less than $1.00.......How could I leave it?
Where will it go in my home ?
Probably hang in my pink, "lovely room "as my husband calls it
....it is now NOT FORGOTTEN.

I am so looking forwward to seeing these....found out about this from Mrs.B at Cherish the Home....

HEALTH

My beloved now has the bug...I sent him to work, with soup, broth, tea...tangerines and lots of love.

Me...slowly on the mend...I did spend 10 hours in ER Monday night....I thought..they wondered...if I was having a Heart attack...or pulmonary embolism....after great care and great peace from the Lord, it is being attributed to all the deep coughing...etc....

Today....more rest....and still request prayer...and also prayer for a dear friend (God knows WHO she is).....

NOW...what can I pray for you for?

Missing Church

I am Missing church this morning.

I do not believe in missing

unless there is a REAL REASON

There is:

I am sick.....so yesterday my beloved took me in

and the diagnosis is "YES your are sick"

So with a bag full of meds...

I am home...and missing churrch

BUT

there is a blessing in all of this

there are sites that I could visit to listen

to a sermon on line.

I am careful, that these sites

line up with God's WORD.

As I was skimming through all the downloaded titles

I KNEW which one I should listen to;
THOU SHALT NOT COVET

You may think YOU don't have a problem in this area...

I KNOW, I DO, at times...

I would encourage you

to listen to this as well.

Not just because you are home sick

but it is a great sermon for

ALL of us....

You will be challenged,

convicted and blessed...

So this morning, after barely no sleep....

due to coughing and wheezing....

I would much rather be in my church,

which I love, with my husband.

But

I amso thankful for great teaching on line.
